A crew of 3 showed up to wash and detail my car. It looked like a family of Dad and 2 sons, although I can't confirm that.
Everything was pretty well done except for the morning after they did the job all the Armoral treatment area of black were dripping with white milky substance.
I called the company and they said they'd sent someone out but I never saw them again.
Not good.

They were nice guys and did a great job.

The work on my car was very good. I would use Star detail again. The only problem was that they did not show up for the scheduled appointment but did come when rescheduled. I attributed this to them being overwhelmed to the response they got from the Big Deal. which really was a good deal

They were about a half hour later than they had said, but that was no problem for me. The one in charge said they used a liquid wax which is OK, but other detailers use paste wax, as I do when detailing my own car, because it lasts longer. They did mostly an average job, but they performed in an excellent manner at treating my dash which is a composite plastic material made to compliment the leather upholstery. My car is a Lexus LS460 and not even the dealer knew how to treat the few scratches on the dash. The upholstery looked clean but I could not tell how well or how complete the conditioning of the leather was. The mats were cleaned and looked fine. The one in charge said he did not clean the carpets because "they didn't need it" and if they were done, the carpets would be wet after and fog  up the interior. The car is five years old and I should have insisted. I felt that if I insisted they would probably not have done a real great job, so I left it alone.
BOTTOM LINE: They did a fair to good job for the price but I'm glad I didn't pay more. Even for the price I would probably opt for a different detailer in the future.

Very very hard working crew. Very fast responders.I have purchased a few
of the detailing specials from different detailers, I have never had a
good experience, they are always over booked and are not attentive, they
are inconsiderate, often rude like they are doing you a favor. It took a
little bit of compromise and a little bit of communication so dont
expect that its like a car wash where you just drive up and get your car
done at that time. My minivan has 2 toddlers 2-5 years olkd and they
have done an ubelievable number on the van. It was so bad there were
milk stains, juice stains, cherrios ground into carpet 4 years old.
The
2 person crew came out and literally made the inside of my car as close
to new as humanly possible. I usually only write bad reviews to warn
people of deceptive adds and I have not found any angies list deals to
gbe real, the reviews are usually put up I have found by people employed
byt the company. The adds are usually misleading.
This is my firsst really good experience. Yes it was expensive but these guys were worth every penny,
and I dont usually say that.

There were two people. They worked fast and very efficiently. They used their own water to wash the cars so no spotting would happen. The sedan had a few places that required special attention and they took care of it.
I would certainly use this service again.

I felt it was bait-and-switch. As soon as they showed up, they tried to upsell me.  They cleaned the car well, but originally said that it didn’t qualify and it would be an additional $50 to do the work.  After I pushed back, and said that they’d have to leave without doing the work, they then agreed to do the work as advertised.

The company did an excellent job.  I loved it!  It was like a new car.  They were very customer-friendly and professional.  Little bit of a 'hard sell' to have extras added on to the job.  I would use them again.  They were that good.

I purchased an Angie's List special for my son, he brought his car to my house for the appointment because I have a wider driveway. (From his account, they were polite and easy to schedule with on the phone) They arrived significantly late, which was the only problem we encountered, my son had to leave and go back to the office,(in my car) because he could not take the extra time off work. Luckily I had the afternoon off so I could stay and wait, or it would have been a much bigger problem, as it would have been very hard for him to have asked for more time off.
The men (a team of two) who came were very nice, worked hard, and did a thorough job detailing the interior and exterior of his car. The carpets are clean, the car looks brand new, they use some clay stuff (I don't know exactly, but my son said it is the best) to wax and buff, really, his car looked like it did the day he picked it up new from the dealer. This car is my son's "baby,", he loves that thing, so if he was happy, that says a lot, and he was very happy. 
They also gave me a list of their other services (ding removal, leather repair, windshield repair, etc.) It is very complete, and all done at your home so very convenient. I am seriously thinking of calling them and having my car done, their work was much better than the service I have used in the past, where I had to drop my car, arrange a ride, and still my vents were grimy and drink holders were dirty when I picked it up. 
I recommend this company and was very pleased with their work.

It was easy to schedule an appointment, and the workers were very prompt.  They did their work in a timely manner and the car looked
AMAZING!  Husband couldn't be happier.  It wasn't cheap, but it was definitely a luxury to have them come out to our condo to do the detail.

Work was thorough and beautiful. They even applied touch up paint to any chipped areas on my vehicle. They brought all of their own equipment and when they left there was no trace they had been there.

I"ve used these guys at least three times before I decided it was time
for a review.  I'm a pain in the "A" for anybody who details my cars
because I used to do it myself.  Mark's crew understood what I wanted
and the couple of things they missed the first time never showed up
again.  They are reliable, cheerful and diligent.

The detailer (and "helper") came at the scheduled time, and throughly worked on the inside and outside of my car. It took approximately 2 hours. The results were beautiful, and my car looked like new!

Once I made the appointment the manager called on the day of the job and informed me they were on the way and asked if it was raining or not. The guys were punctual, though I expected a more professional appearance. but given what they are working with, I think shorts and shirts are adequate attire. The job was completed in the quoted amont of time and the car looked so much better than the previous "car wash detail". I was glad to buy the guys lunch.!

They showed up early and waited for me.  Explained the job and what to expect, educated me on the process.  Shared that that watermarks may not come out and offered the additional service that would be additional.  We agreed to see how it came out and I was satisfied.  Next time I may plan ahead to have the watermarks taken care of.  Very satisfied in the end result, they even did a complete clean and shampoo of the trunk.

This was an excellent experience.  Star Mobile Auto Detailing responded quickly to my request for detailing, made an appointment with me, showed up on time, and performed the work beautifully.  I will definitely use them again.

This was the second time I used Starr and I will continue to do this. I bought one of Angie's List's Big Deals for complete interior and exterior auto detailing and was immediately contacted by Starr to set up the appointment.
The Starr team arrived at my house exactly on time and did a fantastic job. The Prius looks brand new. I will be using them again.

I purchased a discount coupon from Angie's list for a detail that was
advertised as a "$389.00 detail for $129.00" The guys arrived on time
and detailed my car in a timely fashion. When I asked one of the workers
to please buff out a particularly hazy  spot on the car I was told that
service was not included in the $129.00 dollar detail job. I was under
the impression I was getting a $389.00 job for $129.00, guess not. I
think this was a classic case of bait and switch or, at the very least,
false advertising. The job they did was acceptable for $129.00 but there
are a lot of detail guys out there, so I'm sure i will try one of them
instead next time.
