After LoveSac received our money, their communication completely broke down. On the 10th of Jan. we called and were told that the cover was in transit. Based upon our initial conversation conversation on 12/30, this was when the cover should have been received. On the 14th, we called and left a message requesting a status update. Our call was not returned. We called LoveSac's corporate headquarters later on the 14th. Corporate told us that once the order has been placed that they have no involvement and could therefore not be of assistance. During our conversation with corporate, the representative stated that covers always take between 2-4 weeks to arrive. This lead us to believe that the employees we had been dealing with in our local store were not being completely straightforward with us on the time necessary for the cover to arrive. Later on the 14th, we called and spoke to Sarah in the Valley Fair store. Sarah stated that she did not see the cover in their inventory system nor were there any in the warehouse. They had no idea when another cover was going to be available. We called back and stated this was unacceptable and desired to talk to the manager. Eventually Sarah suggested that a cover could be temporarily borrowed from the store until our King Phur covered actually arrived. Later that day, Sarah was able to locate our cover in a shipment which was received at the Stoneridge Mall in Pleasonton (45 minutes away). She stated that we should be able to pick it up on the 17th. On the 18th we were told that it had not been unpacked. On the 21st, the manager forgot to put it in his car (the delivery vehicle) when he was moving product from the Pleasonton store to Valley Fair store. We finally received the cover on the 22nd. The real frustration regarding this situation was that my daughter went through 2 major surgeries during this time and the one thing she wanted to come home to was her new LoveSac with the King Phur cover.. LoveSac knew about my daughter's situation before the 15th, but they didn't seem able to help us. We would have returned the entire product had my daughter let us. Sarah was the only person who ever expressed concern regarding the situation. Sarah was the only person we spoke with who ever seemed willing to try to figure out what was going on and returned our phone calls.
Description of Work: We purchased a LoveSac (memory foam chair). The actual name of the product was a BigOne with King Phur cover. We were able to take the bag home the day after we purchased it over the phone. We we told that the cover would arrive in store in approximately 7 working days by the assistant manager. The cover would then have to be picked up by someone at the store and could not be delivered to our home.
