Water flow is great!
Cutouts made to access key pipes were re-wallboarded, taped, and re-textured. Because we have white walls, this barely shows, and will be easy to repaint.
Passed city inspection with no flags or rework.
Nice touch, explanations were given before, during and after each major step in the process.
We had a lot of work done in just a few days, so EJ Plumbing (a family owned business) sent over a large crew to get the job done.
It was a pleasure to see how well all the folks worked together, especially in tight spaces.
If we plan future work, we will call EJ Plumbing. The quality of their work justified the price. Also, of the three contractors we contacted, they were the fastest to respond to our initial request, the most polite, and the most professional.

Gary and Mark were able to identify the problem very quickly and performed a very timely and professional fix.  They also looked around the area below to ensure that we didn't have any other problems or would have any other problems in a short amount of time.

Manny gave me a window of 11am-1pm after I discovered the leaking drain pipe under the kitchen sink. Called to let me know he was on his way. Came in, repaired the pipe, reconnected to the disposal, tested both the water draining and the disposal. Was a relatively quick fix. EJ has a minimum $125 charge, and we had some extra time so he connected a couple of low-flow water faucet and shower heads I had bought but had not installed yet. Really professional, cleaned up, great experience and end to what I was afraid would be a worse problem. Would definitely use again.

Fast, courtesy, reasonable priced. Our water heater leaks and no hot water. We picked EJ because it's good review and closest to our home. Called in EJ in the morning, who came in at noon as promised, and out by 2. No hassle. I originally planned we would be out of hot water for couple days for this repair, not any more with EJ. We made good choice to pick local mom shop like EJ. I think we just find a long term plumber candidate as well.

Dinner time just before the Thanksgiving holiday when all toilets plugged up and no normal plunging would open them up. Called Roto-Rooter Company who sent incompetent technician who could not do the job, would have to come back next day and would charge about $1000.  Other plumbers also could not come til next day.  So we checked Angie's List, found EJ Plumbing, and called them about 7 pm, after dark.  Ray Sanchez came cheerfully within less than an hour, even though he was off shift. Ray diagnosed problem, cleared drains with Roto-Rooter-type snake equipment, hauling his heavy equipment up onto roof, and snaked drains at least 100 feet through house drains all the way to the street. Ray was also careful to wear booties when inside the house, cleaned up after job was done... and when job was done he only charged about 1/3rd what the Roto-Rooter company had quoted for the job.

The plumber showed up as scheduled.  They gave us time to complete our showers and using the bathroom before they started the job.  They stated it would take 8 hours, however they had completed the job by 3PM.  They exceeded my expectation by being sure that everything was functioning properly before the left.  My garbage stopped working while the plumber was completing the paper work.  He took his time and found a rock in the disposal and cleared it out.  I am forever thankful for their service and will be calling them again in the future. They gave me closure to what the previous plumber left undone.

The plumber came out very promptly after I gave them a call.  He was honest with me in his diagnosis of the problem and told me that I should wait to perform the service until we do a remodel and upgrade all the piping.  Then he even gave me the parts I needed to fix the problem myself for free!  I would be very happy to go with them in the future.

Went great.  Quick, direct, explained clearly what was wrong.  Called on his way to my apartment and was on time (a little early, actually.)

Arrived as scheduled, cleared toilet back up.  Courteous and professional.

They arrived on time and with the proper equipment.
The job required trenching, and when it was over it looked just like before.  Because they had a tamper, I'm sure the yard will continue to look good. 
The job turned out to be much less extensive that the original bid was for.  Frankly they could have done the work bid and I wouldn't have know the difference.  But they said "want some good news?"  They explained the situation, fixed the one part that actually was broken and reduced the cost to me by 75%.
I'm sure not all jobs will turn out that way, but it did make me feel like they could be depended on.

Their service is performed under home warranty.  I called them during the president day weekend when most plumber are not willing to come out. I had problem with the main sewer line and they clear it out with their snake machine. They are punctual and very professional.

Called a few places and got a rough estimated quote over the phone from Manny (a few others would not provide a phone quote but instead wanted to come out to give estimate and charge for site visit even if work is not performed).  They had someone available to come out the same day and they came on time.
Lewis had a very positive attitude. Tried vent and cleanout to unclog the drain until one worked and did not try to tack on charges. Replaced leaking trash disposer that I purchased and required one part which he had available. Cleaned up after the work and clearly explained the labor warranty.

They were really good. The fix went well. They were professional and showed me the repaired part.

Extremely quick response and service. Price seemed a little high but it was worth it to have it done so quickly. I have used EJ Plumbing before so I didn't bother to comparison shop.

The provider responded quickly.  However, despite the city requiring a permit, it was suggested that one was not necessary.  When pulling the permit myself, I learned they were using the wrong diameter of pipe for the gas. The crew reacted to this news as though this was the first time they had heard this.  So either they have never installed a system like mine before or they have done so not to code.  Coincidentally, the run of the gas line that was too small would not have been visible to an inspector.  There was a gas leak in my garage after they left that I noticed hours later, but to their credit, someone came out after 10pm to fix it.  Someone just forgot to tighten a connection. After they left I noticed that weatherstripping to a garage door they used is broken and a worker brought their dog in my back yard, who left something for me to clean up.  A pipe wasn't installed so I thought there was a water leak. No paperwork on the installed filter.

The employee who came to my house made a tasteless racist joke about someone walking down my street. It was completely unprofessional. He also suggested that I should not bother getting a permit for the work (which was fairly major and highly visible from the street), but just go get a permit if the city ever asked about it. I'm sure plenty of people do this, but I think it's an unethical suggestion. The permit cost quoted was more than twice what other companies quoted. 
The estimate was free and the quote was within the same range as others I received.

Serviceman Jair Goday gave estimate to replace the faucet in the master bathroom. He however said that I should have told him I had a coupon from Angieslist before he gave me the quote, so he could take that into account, I assume by increasing the price. So, I do not want to use his services and request a full refund.

Jaime was wonderful.  He was very professional and told me exactly how much it would cost and kept to the cost.
