"We regret that Michael T. is unhappy with the look of his pool finish, but as he admits, we told him in advance what to expect. The nature of a plaster finish is that it blotches. There's nothing inherently wrong with that. Some people prefer the "fresco look," as it's called in our industry. If you don't like that look and yet don't want a pebble finish (which is considerably more expensive), we recommend using a white plaster. White plaster still blotches, but is not as noticeable. The degree to which a plaster finish blotches depends on factors such as how the water is treated, i.e., chemically balanced, in the first week or two after refilling the pool. It's also important to brush the plaster and filter the water correctly during this time. We always recommend hiring a professional pool service for the "start-up" period. Michael T. chose to do the start-up himself. Again, we're sorry that Michael is disappointed with the color of the finish. We advised him responsibly about the options and outcomes, and did our job to a high professional standard."

"To determine the source of a leaking swimming pool, an extensive leak detection regimen and report by an outside leak detection specialty company is required. These test can be considered expensive. In this case our customer opted out of the leak detection and requested we use the information we gathered from her personal findings. Trial and error came into play. These types of solutions can be unorthodox and lengthy. We performed a simple epoxy patch on the pool skimmer and requested the customer to keep an eye on the water level and get back to us on the status of the leak. We issued a receipt within a few minutes of the request."
