ServiceMaster Anytime

We had a birthday party for my son, and had this bright idea to have the piñata inside the house hanging from the living room ceiling. Well through the course of lighting the candles - the Piñata caught on fire. We were quick with the garden hose, but the living room was trashed. We mopped up what we could, but after a couple of days of every freakin cleaner offered at the store, we could not get the smell of smoke out of the house. I heard about these guys from some friends, and gave them a call. I don't know what magic potion they used to get the smoke smell out of the house, but these pros cured my problem! In 24hrs the smell was gone! I mean totally gone, with no nasty chemical smell. Amazing experience, and highly recommended!

Bathroom toilet and bathtub backed up with sewage yesterday. Landlord arranged for a plumber to fix the problem in the pipe, but no one to clean up the nausea making mess. After the plumber went on his way, I sprayed a bleach containing cleaner that he left behind all over the tub and toilet, shut the door, and stuffed towels at the base of the door to reduce the fumes escaping into the rest of my living area.
Today I contacted Servicemaster Anytime.
Within minutes of my phone call to Servicemaster, I was connected with Matt. Matt was very polite and efficient during our call. He said that he'd call cleaning tech Josh, and that Josh would be calling me shortly.
Ten minutes later, sure enough, polite and reassuring Josh called me with his ETA at my residence. Josh arrived promptly, put on a pair of shoe covers at the entryway, explained what he was there to do for me, and explained his process for cleaning and sanitizing after a sewer back up. Luckily, the sewage didn't overflow the toilet, so it didn't reach any porous surfaces. Josh thanked me for the cleanliness of the tub and toilet.
Josh cleaned and sanitized using a Servicemaster proprietary liquid sanitizer. After Josh finished sanitizing the bathroom, he told me each location he had treated in there. He also sprayed sanitizer along the path the plumber used walking into and leaving my residence, and on the door handles he'd touched.
Josh was thorough, efficient, well spoken, and personable. I appreciate the work he did for me and how he went about doing it. If only my landlord were like Josh.

I had a flood in my home because a large pipe had burst.  When I called USAA I told them what had happened and the woman on the phone told me to put my feet up and they would send someone out to take care of everything. They said that whoever they sent out would pull everything out, clean up the mess, and put everything back the way it was.   

My insurance company sent this company out and they have destroyed my home. This company went into my den on the first day and packed everything into about 50 boxes, leaving them in piles around my house.  They disconnected all of the computer and telephone systems, saying that they needed to do this to get to the dry wall. They took it upon themselves to throughout things that were mine, packing up my important tax and checking documents and I am unable to find any of it.  They sent someone new each day and they would take 2 hour lunches, text the entire day, and I ended up being the one working all day while they played.

They did not even get to the garage until the 9th day, November 12th, and I knew something was going on.  They would not come some days or would come later in the day so that the most they were at my home was 3-4 hours.  The equipment that they used to dry areas of the home was broken and the hose had holes in it causing water to go to areas that were not previously damaged.  At the end of this day the provide was leaving and said that USAA had told them that they had to leave because they were not going to pay for their companies services any longer.  They have left me high and dry with a broken garage door, a non-working washer and dryer, electricity and internet that is out, and boxes everywhere.  I am not sure where to go from here.

They broke dishes, antiques, and other items in my home.  One day I grabbed one of the trash bags they were using and found containers full of my broken things.  They had tried to hide it from me! I have had 17 bones surgeries and it is extremely difficult for me to do anything.  I have had two concussions as a result of the mess in my home.

Nobody should have to be put through this abuse!  Please, don't hire this provider.  I would not use them every again.
