George came the week before gave us an estimate & told us to buy the units so that we'd pay what we wanted to pay. When George & Linda arrived we had the units we'd selected ready. They were very professional, hard-working & friendly. Great clean-up too! It's wonderful to have toasty bathrooms now in the winter. A round of applause for George & Linda...they're great! We'll definitely be calling them again!!

I had a GFI circuit that kept tripping. George responded to my call immediately, and was there the next day, on time. He diagnosed the problem and resolved it quickly, and for an extremely reasonable price. I would us his service again in a heartbeat!

George, the electrician, cam and gave us an estimate on September 21st and started work on September 27th. He finished on September 28th. We are very happy with his work. We are glad to have found him on Angie's List. George was a very nice man, who showed much talent in his work. We would definitely use him again.

The McCutcheons were prompt (arriving 20 minutes early), professional and efficient. They went the extra mile by searching for switches and switch plates to meet our specifications, including a last-minute change we requested. They were, in addition, friendly and likable people whom we enjoyed having in our home. Their expressed philosophy is to give good value for the money they charge, and for us they certainly delivered that. Everything they did looks great and works perfectly. We cannot recommend the McCutcheons too highly. They are good and skillful people. Hire them.

As above - basically we had lost power to a small area in our master bedroom as well as 2 lights were not getting power. My husband knew it had to be one of two issues but he was not the expert as well as he just had ankle surgery. The Electrian came when he said he was 5-10 min early, but went right to work diagnosed the issue , climbed all around our attic to make sure then grounded a loose wire and replace 2 lights. He cleaned up explained all that he did then was done.

We recently bought our first home, and there were several fire hazards that needed to be addressed. In the garage, there were two separate faulty wiring issues. In the dining room, there was a faulty plug. We asked George to give us an estimate before scheduling the work. He quoted $75 for each item, which is a good price. While there for the estimate, George also pointed out another safety issue - we needed GFI's in our kitchen and bathrooms. GFI's (Ground Fault Interrupters) are designed to protect from electrical shock by interrupting a household circuit when there is a difference in the currents in the "hot" and neutral wires. George quoted $50 for each GFI. This is a little on the high end, but still within range of what's normal. I want to add that I come from a family of Electricians, all of whom live thousands of miles away. I went over George's estimate & his qualifications with my brother who confirmed George's pricing and solutions as reasonable. We scheduled the work for August 10th. George showed up on time and was very professional. We went over everything before he started, then again after he was finished. We are very happy with the results, and grateful to George for pointing out the issue with the GFI's. As it turned out, one of the bathroom plugs was in worse shape than dining room plug. The bathroom plug actually worked, but the part of it that was inside (and exposed to a live circuit) was half broken off. We plug our toothbrushes into this plug, we could have been electrocuted, and we wouldn't have even known about it if George didn't change it out for a GFI. We are very pleased with the work George has done, and will not hesitate to use him again in the future or recommend him to friends. We are new homeowners, and the best lesson we've learned so far is that designer changes can wait, but don't skimp or hesitate on safety related issues. That piece of mind is really priceless.

He clearly has a great deal of experience, 40 years actually, and is very professional, does good solid work and does NOT cut corners. I am having him back next week to do more work, and most likely will have another job for him shortly after that. 5 stars!

I had many little jobs that had been in need of repair and/or change for a long time. I had a hall light that didn't work, my son's light and fan wasn't working anymore from the wall switch (you had to pull the cord), the garage lights (fluorescent) were either not working or not working well, and my fluorescent lights in the kitchen had stopped working and I wanted to change them to recessed lighting on a dimmer. I had in the kitchen, also, track lighting over the sink that you had to switch on and off with an extension cord in the cabinet (the work of the previous owners). The halogen light over my bathroom sink kept getting brighter and going off. George came on a Tuesday and did some of the work that day. He came back within two days, after he got the rest of the materials, and finished the job. I found George to be friendly, professional and he had a good sense of humor. He was very punctual and professional. He traveled a little farther than I think he normally does to do the job, which I appreciated. The second day he came, he was assisted by a very lovely and friendly woman, Linda. The recessed lighting works well, as does everything else, and he gave me a referral for someone to finish the light box (trim and painting) where the fluorescent lights used to be. He even removed a broken bulb and replaced it for us in another fixture. His prices seemed fair, I asked for the Angie's List discount and he gave it to me, and he gave us a little break on the can lights. He seemed easy to contact. I would definitely call him again for any electrical problems.

He finished all of the work after several hours and tested everything. George was friendly and did a great job. I would definitely use him again.

George was punctual. He came back to work on Saturday when he could not finish all work on the same day (and there was a lot to do). I did not shop around for prices but I am satisfied with the price I paid to George. he did the work as promised and cleaned up behind him. Both him and his wife were courteous and personable.

I called and got an appt. for a few days later at 9AM The day before received a phone call from George asking if he could change it to later in the day because one of his clients did not have power, and he needed it fixed immediately since he was going out of town. I agreed to have him come later even though I had to reschedule my entire day. While part of me thinks his other client put pressure on him to be there immediately (since if you don't have power, you usually call the power company), I agreed to change my day around and work with him (and his other client). He arrived on time, and in a few hours completed the work to my satisfaction. His price was right on and he made sure he cleaned up his mess. Given I was paying our previous electrician a crazy amount of money just to do simple jobs (he was the guy who wired our house when it was built) I feel like George does a very good job for a fair price. I would certainly use him again.
