George came by on time and even offered to remove his shoes before entering my home - which is what I preferred.  George troubleshooted 2 outlets that we not functioning properly and corrected the wiring that the previous homeowner had modified.  I also had one light switch that didn't control anything that George hunting down the proper switched outlet and re-wired that correctly for me.  I also asked to have 4 outlets replaced that were old and discolored.  Lastly I asked for a quote to replace 3 recessed lighting fixtures that I want changed out and he provided that.  After he was done George brought his portable vacuum and ensured to clean up any debris that was left behind.   Excellent service and very personable.

Went okay.  The job took longer than I anticipated.  In hindsight I would have asked for a quote on entire job rather than pay the hourly rate.

Mr. Mc Cutcheon was professional, patient and kind. I was fortunate to reach him at his office and he was at my house within 15 minutes. He has been an electrician for 43 years, and his experience came in very handy, as my electrical problem was not easy to diagnose.  He was able to find the problem and took care of it. Also, he made it a point to show me how to de-activate the ground fault interrupter in case it tripped again, so I could do it myself. I thought that was very thoughtful, and I really appreciated it since it happened again during the weekend. Finally, before leaving, he volunteered to help me with my exterior motion detector lights, and set them for me. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I would recommend Mr. Mc Cutcheon to anyone needing an experienced electrician.

Solo guy - nice fella. One GFI circut was out so had George come take a look. Took apart 6 outlets to see where the issue was - after some detective work, found that I had a bad motor of a fountain. Replaced all the outdoor outlets with coverplates. Would use him again ( and have )..

He (Mike) introduced himself, cover his shoes with plastic and we went through the house to show him the problem areas. He went to his truck and prepared a proposal with three options. He explained his options and we select one of them. He was willing to start immediatelly. At the end of the day the job was not complete and came Saturday to complete it. We will use them again in the near future.
At the end of his job I asked him if he could cover the base of a chandelier (of high ceiling) that the previous electrician forgot to do. Without hesitation was willing to do it and we did not have to pay extra.

Wow, George was great.  He fit me into his schedule because I needed him
right away.  He was fast and professional.  He fixed things that had
been wrong with my electrical situation for 20 years.  He found a
potential dangerous problem and fixed it.  He replaced faulty plugs and
had everything he needed right on his truck.  We were so lucky to find
him.  He stayed late until he finished everything we had concerns
about.  He even removed a broken light bulb base for me.  He was
reasonable, very fair and we would hire him again, for sure.

George (the Electrician) came out, promptly diagnosed the problem with
an electrical outlet box and fixed the problem in all about 20 minutes. 
George was able to come out within two days of my original call. 
Additionally, a friend of mine who had a long term electrical problem,
called George on my recommendation and was equally satisfied with
George's expertise and knowledge. George promptly repaired my freind's
problem.  It is very satisfiing to know that I could recommend George's
services to another friend.

It went fantastic.  I called George and left a voicemail.  He does not answer the phone when driving.  He called me back within 15 minutes and said he'd try to fit me in the next day and he did.  He worked nearly all day very hard only stopping 30 minutes for lunch. He is a fit, trim, responsible, good humored individual and he won't let you down.  You'll be glad you called him.

What a nice man! He responded to my first phone call immediately, called to confirm the appointment the night before and showed up on time! We had a chain of outlets not working in our dining room and I couldn't find the fuse to reset in what I thought was our only fuse box. When he arrived he asked where the fuse box was, I showed him what I thought was the only fuse box, but it turns out it was one of two. George was very kind, he did have to charge me for his time, but I was happy to pay because now I know where the second box is and I have a reliable electrician to call when I need one again. Thanks George!

George was incredible.  I knew nothing of the where the transformers were nor of the overall wiring.  George took the time to show me where everything was and how it was wired.  He patiently rewired a lot of my torch lights that were throughout the yard.  He also troubleshot my hard lights and fixed my pillar lights on my driveway..
He was very efficient and even called to confirm the night before to make sure the date and time was convenient for me....

There is no question that George is someone whom you will be happy to welcome into your home. He is as warm and genuine as he is knowledgable and skilled. I asked him to come to our home to install some overhead lamps that we purchased when we lived in France. The lamps proved to be tricky, and so could not be hung on the first visit. George went home and conducted some research on them, then returned a few days later to complete the job - at no additional charge. As he worked, he educated me on technical and safely issues. It was clear that he takes pride in his work and that he values relationships. George's wife Linda joined him for the second visit. He showed Linda and me the fine points of what needed to be done. And for her part, Linda was happy to participate. She found a well hidden (and mission critical) light switch that even I didn't know existed, she discovered and pulled out our vacuum so that she could vacuum our carpet, and she was happily available to provide any assistance necessary. They're a charming couple, and with his skill level, fair pricing and honest approach to doing business, I won't hesitate to call George again.

Work was done professionally.  No further occurrence happened.  He also saved me a lot of money.
Another electrician also looked at the problem prior.  This electrician wanted to put a new panel which he estimated to cost me $1,450.
The Electrician (George) only charged me $125.  He did not recommend unnecessary repairs.

I just had him come out to check 2 of my outside outlets that weren't working.  Of course I just needed to reset my GFI, but while he was hereI had him fix my ceiling fan that had started coming away from the ceiling and install a remote. He also helped me replace the battery in my smoke detector while he was here.  He is very knowledgeable, professional, and an overall nice guy.  I would definitely use him again and recommend him to anyone who needs an electrician. He's the best.

He was an absolute professional, on time every time and provided exactly the kind of explanations we needed.  His expertise is obvious - he knows what he is doing from real experience.  The description of the materials he listed for us to obtain was right on and the work was done on schedule.  George was also responsive when we had a follow up call.  He has the work ethic and values that are so so hard to find anymore.  Highly recommend !

He arrived a few minutes before the scheduled time, which was nice.  He listened to my description of what I needed done, and indicated what he would be doing.  He told me about several things that needed attention that I was not aware of before he came.  He explained which of these items that needed to be changed and also which did not.  For example, some of the wiring in my attic was a smaller size than most, and that it was not necessary to change it.  That saved me money.  One of the fans he was to install had been opened and assembled then disassembled and put back in the box.  He recommended I return it and insist on a fresh unit as the one I had might not be complete or in new condition.  Overall he was prompt, did excellent work, cleaned up afterwards, was courteous, friendly and I will us he again when I need an electrician.  I also would recommend him to friends, neighbors or relatives.

George was professional and punctual. He knew exactly what to do. George told me that over the years, he has still not been defeated by electrical problems and that every situation has a simple solution. It's his job to find it- and he has apparently.  I had a full range of electrical problems: outlets not working, lighting needing the be installed and a blown fuse inside the panel.  Anyone using George's service should feel confident that he will take good care of them.

Our entire garage was wired with extension cords. They rewired it with the proper materials, fixtures and light fixtures. We thought it was a little too costly for what they did. The work was fine we can not object to that. It was an electrician and his helper and we thought it took them a little longer than it should have. It was not a real complex job. Everything in the garage is open. They responded and came out as agreed. I would not use them again.

I called The Electrician because it received great reviews. The lights were out in one of my bedrooms. I called The Electrcian at 9 and George, the owner, was at my condo by 10:30. George diagnosed the problem and got the lights back on very quickly. He helped me understand why they went out in the first place. George was so personable and professional. It was a pleasure to have him in my home. Not only did George fix the problem, he was also a really nice person to talk to! His prices were very fair as well. He was very neat as he goes about his work. I did not have to clean up anything. Most importantly, I felt I was getting a fair deal. I am so pleased to have used The Electrician. I highly recommend him and will use him in the future.
