C & J FENCING

Unlike a few other companies, these guys were very prompt and professional providing an estimate. Price they gave was also not bad at all - compared to other guys. It's just that we went with our neighbor's contractor who was recently rebuilding their house, who gave better offer, otherwise I would go for their offer, it was the best.

We were given an estimate of a 2 week wait for starting the job and that is exactly how long we waited. The estimated time for completion was 3 days, again, the time was correct. The finished product is beautiful. We have many flowers and shrubs close to the fence but the workers were extremely careful to protect them. This was an A+ professional job.

The company was very upfront with costs and did not recommend work that wasn't practical in repair of a fence that was blown down. The end results was great. Job was done as scheduled. Definitely would use C and J if future work is needed.

Overwhelming positive experience -- darned near perfect. My only hesitation was that the price might be closer to a and quot;Band quot; than an and quot;Aand quot;... but you pay for quality! And the quality of the fence and the people who installed it is absolutely top-notch. You don't get great, proactive suggestions or a 15 year warranty from freelance day laborers.

After the estimator had come and gone, the Cand J crew showed up right on schedule and worked like an army -- an extremely polite, professional army. They tore down the remainder of the old fence, were extremely mindful of the bordering neighbor and their dog, and put up a beautiful new fence -- all in the space of day. There were no surprises but good ones; e.g., how fantastic the whole job looked when it was done. Pretty sure for, as much as they charged, it has added twice that value to my home. Highest recommendation!

After reviewing Angie's List I contacted four contractors for an estimate on replacing approximately 130 ft of fence. Two contractors made appointments to visit my home and provided estimates. C and J Fencing's estimate was the lower of the two, and they eventually set an appointment for installation. The installation was completed in one day and they removed all debris from the old fence. I am very pleased with the results.

It took another eight weeks to do the project because of my homeowners association. The installation went fine.

Would have loved to hear back and been able to have our fence fixed!

Their service was pretty good. I got a basic fence for the price. They did pretty good. They came in and did the job. There were slight discrepancies between what the sales person said and how the fence was actually constructed, but it was relatively minor. They were very good at coming back a couple of weeks later when I called and I needed something else. They came back right away. I think they came back twice based on the requests that I had and did little fixes. They are pretty good at making good on their promise. It was definitely a decent price.

They showed up on time and worked completely on estimated timeline. There was confusion on the height of 16ft o the side fence they office manager adjusted the price so it worked out okay.

The project went very well from estimate through to completion. I solicited 3 bids on the project and Cand J came in somewhere in the middle on cost. After discussing with all three contractors (the others had either A+ rating with BBB or listed with Service Magic), I felt most comfortable with Cand J based on willingness to work with existing landscape, their professionalism, and based on Angies List reviews. The crew showed up on time and had the fence replaced in 2 days. They were professional and thorough and were very gentle on the landscaping that lined the fence line. After the fence was complete, they left no sign of the work done, no debris, and no destroyed plantings. They even worked around a large tree encroaching in from the neighbors yard without harming the tree and without leaving me with an eyesore in the fencing. We are very pleased with the work and the cost and would certainly recommend Cand J to anyone looking to replace a wooden fence.

I liked the work they did, they did it in a day and it looks good. I have a few areas in my yard where the terrain is not flat and their were a few gaps in the bottoms there and they came back out and filled those in for my dogs and did a great job with those too. They're inexpensive, quick, came on time, responsive with their follow up and their receptionist called to ask if they could come a little bit early which was great. They had good communication and it was all good.

This company did provide the lowest bid for comparable work. However, we selected another company who originally employed this company's key personnel (or so we understand) and which had a longer track record, with a lot more reviews. Nevertheless, we did appreciate the punctuality and professionalism of the estimator and would certainly consider this company in future work. We found it interesting that of the several estimates we received, there was variation among them in measurement, which accounted for some of the difference in prices.

I would recommend them highly, they were very professional and responsive to our request for an estimate. Their pricing was also competitive with several other companies in the area, and they were very fast. They were a diamond certified, and when they came out they had got the work down in two days.

Overall it went well. The only annoyance was that they didn't show up in the promised time frame and when I called to ask if they would make it, they didn't call me back as promised. In general something minor, but I would have appreciated a phone call to let me know they would be later (it was getting to the point where I wasn't sure if they would be able to make it before it got dark)

From the quality of the workmanship to the quality of the fencing materials to customer service, Cand J is the complete package, and they quoted one of the best prices. They use a thicker grade redwood board than many other fencing companies and they stand by their product. Acouple months after installation one of the 4x6 boards anchoring a large gate started to warp. I called and they replaced the board and other small issues no questions asked.

Our fence, shared with a neighbor, had blown down in a storm. The estimator was quick and efficient. He explained the materials they use. He answered all my questions and then left me with a quote and a form to split invoice the work with my neighbor. He also explained that they don't take any money until the work is complete. Today they showed up on time. They were efficient and took about 6 hours for the whole job. They completely dismantled and hauled away the old fence debris. The supervisor showed up sometime after the workers had completed the work to make sure it all looked good. We looked at the fence together and it looked good. They even reattached my water spigot to the fence. I was very please with the work and will recommend them to others.

They were professional and punctual. They did everything that they said they were going to do and they even matched the price of another competitor. The experience was very positive.

About a 40 foot section of my fence was blown down during winter. I got several estimates but went with C and J fencing because the estimate given me was the lowest for the job and he also advised me of additional work that may be required and why it would be advantageous to consider doing the additional work. I never saw the estimator, i.e. after the initial appointment, or the workers, as when the work was scheduled they came out when I was at work and when I came home I had a brand new fence. In fact, they had done more than I contracted for and that was great. I payed my bill and I'm happy with the fence and the excellent service with C and J.
