Went very well.

Wonderful companies I called before wanted a huge amount of money. Ace inspected the unit and were able to repair it. They also inspected our furnace. They offered expert advice. They were the only ones who told us to keep the downstairs door closed when running the air.

Greg was amazing. He has the education and the experience in the business. He fixed a broken part and check all the vents and the intake. He said the unit is good and just needed a little fix which he did. He told us to keep all the doors closed upstairs and downstairs as the outside air enters the downstairs and rises up to heat the upstairs. I should have know that! He said there were heat leaks in the attic around the light fixtures that need to be sealed. He suggest that in the future we should replace the insulation. The other companies said we needed a new unit at the average cost of $6000. I will use him again if I have any problems what a great experience!

Greg mentioned that if I could not find anyone else to help, he would do his best to help me. In the end, Greg was able to take on the job and helped my wife, my two-year-old daughter, and me to have heat once again. He had to replace a completely defunct furnace, had suggestions as to what he would do for the replacement, and recommended and completed improvements on the current system. He checked in with us along the way, and he really made us feel comfortable and able to trust him and his crew fully. I am extremely thankful that Greg was able to make room for us in his busy schedule. I highly recommend Ace Heating without hesitation!

They were very responsive.  It was an emergency and I needed the furnace taken care of immediately.  I trusted the owner from the beginning and he was straight with me.  He made a recommendation on a new furnace and had his team out early the next morning.  They worked all day and completed the project about an hour before our guests arrived for the evening...and the heat came on and worked great.  I particularly appreciated the quality of their work.  They did a MUCH better job on this installation than the way the previous furnace was installed.  And all is still good today.  I would recommend ACE to anyone.

II thought my air conditioner problem was going to be difficult and expensive. Surprisingly it was an easy fix. My thermostat was broken, and Greg replaced it. He came over to fix my problem within 24 hours of my phone call, and returned my phone call within a few hours. Others I called, never returned my phone call, and or had an answering service.
Greg, the owner of ACE Heating and Air Conditioner, the extremely knowledgeable and honest. He diagnosed my problem immediately and my home was so cool within minutes. I want him to come back and clean my heating system. I was very impressed and pleased by his professionalism and honesty.

My husband and I contacted Greg Torre after we had gone through a complete nightmare with a fraudulent GC, whose work was entirely slipshod. The fraud was fired 3/23/13.
When Greg arrived, he was a breath of fresh air!! Greg Torre is a man of integrity and good character. He - and his employees - have always treated us with respect.
1. Greg repaired, and correctly installed, the thermostat that the fraud GC couldn't figure out, and reignited the furnace.
I asked Greg to check other work - within his area of expertise - that the fraud GC did to determine what else requires repair.
2. The fraud messed up part of our heating system. Greg patiently detailed -with explicit examples - how/why the fraud's jerry-built duct work was destined to fail (we didn't know we were left with a jerry-built duct). We asked Greg to remove the unsound (read: stupid) duct, and to restore the original duct.
3. Greg and one of his employees, Esteban, went in to the substructure to evaluate and move the gas line that the fraud installed incorrectly, and in the wrong place. Together, they made it possible to successfully install our gas stove.
4. With our consent, Greg sent Esteban to clean our ducts. He found spoons - in the ducts - from the previous owners.
Unfortunately, none of them were real silver.
5. Greg also referred us to reputable contractors who helped correct more of the fraudulent GC's illegal, not-to-code, disaster.
If you want to hear the truth, ask Greg. If you want someone to tell you what you want to hear, find another HVAC guy.

Our furnace broke and we needed immediate help. Greg at ACE came out right away and was extremely professional and polite. He walked through all our alternatives, helped us understand the pros/cons to different furnances (including efficiencies and sizes) and explained very clearly exactly what he planned to do. His estimate was reasonable and in line (maybe even cheaper) than others that I had gotten quotes from. When they came to do the work, the men were on time and completely professional. They did what they promised, kept the place very clean, and went over and above with the quality of their work. At the end, they set a time to come back when they could spend time to walk us through exactly what they did and make sure we understood everything and how everything works. All in all, we were extremely satisfied and would recommend them to anyone who needs furnace or A/C work. We will also use them in the future for our ongoing maintenance needs related to our furnace and water heater.

I had a really good experience with them; they are really good. That guy was a rock star. I didn’t even know that I had to take the bottom part of the furnace and clean it. The people who put in the sound barrier didn’t do it properly and so it was sucked up into the furnace. He fixed all that for me. He is going to come back this summer and check my air conditioner. He knows what he is talking about and he knows what he is doing. He is reasonably priced and he cares about his reputation. I would recommend him to anyone. He explained everything to me.

The serviceman was a pleasant sort and was able to give us a temporary fix while the parts were ordered. He came back once more, immediately after I called him about a small leak. I recommend them to stand behind their work.

Greg is a fraud and a fake. He could not repair or troubleshoot the easiest of heaters (a gravity fed wall heater). He did not listen to the description of the problem, do any test, make any adjustments or repairs - yet claimed to fix the problem. I had to let him waste my time because this was through a home warranty, he was sent and working for the home warranty company. He tried, unsuccessfully, to claim that my problem was with ducting and structure not mechanical -thus outside the home warranty. He is a liar and was proven wrong. A real technician of my choosing fix the problem which was mechanical. If you want a lot of BS use Greg. He actually said this; The house was pointed in the wrong direction toward the prevailing winds. He was a waste of time and stupid. Unfortunately I had to listen to his fallacies before I could call a real heating repair company because of the home warranty rules. What a joke! And I have told many local building contractors and architect.
