I had Guardian give me an estimate along with Sears, these guys were 2 1/2 times LOWER and were up front about things, gave me a work up and thats what i paid job took 3 days start to finish. Sears tried scare tactics like your rafters could be rotten and need replacing thats why they wanted 2 1/2 times more and would be like an insurance policy for the rafters . these guys get a 9 of 10

I hired Guardian and they did the roof job but botched it. They had to be called back in to correct some issues and after the work was completed I paid the bil in full. Although paid in full, Guardian�s supplier threatened to lean my home for lack of contractor payment. The issue has since been resolved as I paid the supplier out of pocket and eventually got reimbursed.

The salesman very patiently answered my many questions. He ensured I understood the pros and cons of the various materials and options: plywood with or without radiant heat barrier, felt or Deck Defense, metal flashing or WeatherLock, type of roof ventilation. The roof removal crew willingly covered my attic as requested to protect it from falling debris. They cleaned up the debris quite adequately even though they had to finish after dark.. The roofers professionally and efficiently added the new roof in accordance to the specs in the contract. I am very satisfied with the new roof.

Customer service was very good got back to me in a timely manner.within a few days salesmen made contact,set up appt., and bid job. Rates were very good not the highest,not the lowest,bid was in the lower 1/3 of bids.was the only contractor that could do the job in the time limit I had.Job was done start to finish in 3 days.I had some problems with qaulity control,only big rains and big winds will test the work. I wanted to be there to watch the work but could not. Hope they fixed the small problem I found. clean up was c+ work they did not do that good of a job.I want all to know all the people from Guardian were promt and very nice.
