Description of Work: Initially I gave them a good review for "roto-rooting" my drain line, but one week later, I needed another plumber to do the same. Later I contracted with a third plumber who found that the drain line was invaded by tree roots. No problems since.

Description of Work: I had a new natural gas BBQ hooked up to an existing gas line under my deck.

Description of Work: They replaced flashing and other wood rot on my roof near my gutters. They were wonderful--prompt and speedy and I couldn't have been happier with their work. |

Description of Work: I needed emergency plumbing service on a Saturday - and co. did call back and arrange to come out that afternoon - fixed the immediate problem [drain overflow and constant running of sump pump]. They promised to call me Monday morning to give me an estimate on using a camera - since the diagnosis was probable invasion of the drain system by tree roots. One week later - no phone call.

Description of Work: We needed McBrides to come check out our electrical issues with our house in while it was in escrow during its contingency period.

Description of Work: Look at the date of service. Christmas Eve. Our furnace was shot and we had 15 people coming over to the house the next day. Their office was very helpful and accommodating and scheduled a service quickly. Robert was our technician and he was excellent. Very personable, smart, and was great at explaining what was wrong. He replaced the circuit board and it was good to go. He gave us some suggestions on how to not have the problem happen again (water damage).

Description of Work: At 8 am on Friday I called McBride to see if anyone was available to repair a pipe leak. My water was turned off in my house the previous evening. I was told someone was available and would be there in the mid-afternoon. Right around noon I received a call saying that it was likely that no one was likely coming.

Description of Work: I use McBride's Plumbing & Sheet Metal to do a general inspection of my gas water heater.

Description of Work: We got into this mess by looking before we leaped, we had gotten a condo with lot's of problems. We were looking for stuff to tackle as our first home improvements, we decided on replacing the the water valves to all the sinks and toilets. After the property was built in the late-1970's, nobody had ever looked at renewing the plumbing fixtures. As a result the water shut-off valves were badly corroded over, feeling a little overwhelmed we called McBride's Plumbing. We talked to the receptionist about our problem, she informed us that was a common problem. We made an appointment to have a plumber come over at 1:00 p.m., to do an initial inspection and too determine what needed to be performed. The plumber didn't arrive until 3 p.m., I know that when an appointment is made the time is just tentative. The plumber arrived, we showed him the problem and told him what we were experiencing. He asked to see the water heater, then the exterior shut-off valves. We showed him all that he was interested in seeing; then stated that while the water heater was fine for it's age, the valves were in horrible shape. He said the work was going to cost around $500.00. That sounded like a lot, but if we didn't have problems; we reasoned, it was cheap!
