"I called this customer to find out more about how we failed her. We found two problems in our "taking a message" process. Sometimes it takes a bad review to find what is wrong in order to improve your system."
"Thank you for the feed back pointing out the problems with our CSRs. Unfortunately, this is sometimes how we find out about problems. We have addressed this and hopefully we have improved our messaging process."
Reed was a little slow in responding to my initial email, and then response was basically "call us". The gentleman that came out to give me a quote was helpful and clear in his explanations. I was concerned about a long term committment on monitoring and he and the owner worked with me on this, which I appreciate. The technician installing the equipment was very knowledgeable but had some issues with responsiveness with the main office on monitoring setup so the installation took longer than expected.
I had some issues with the accounting office on acknowledgement of the 1st 6 months monitoring fee I paid when I initially agreed to the installation, but they eventually found it and were apologetic. I've only had to phone the monitoring service once with a question but they were very helpful. I think this is a good company overall and I like that they're local."Please understand that you called our Sales/Service numbers NOT our Alarm Monitoring number. They are totally separate systems for safety and security. On March 6th we had a brief telephone equipment problem. We have a state-of-the-art digital/IP hybrid telephone system. The computer that controls the routing of Sales/Service calls and voice mail locked up. We were not able to answer incoming Sales/Service calls for a brief time. Once the problem was rectified, we listed all of the incoming calls (with telephone numbers available) for the brief period of time that the system was down and had four staff members calling them back to see if there was something that we could do for them. Our central alarm monitoring station infrastructure is completely separate with full redundancy as require in order to be a UL listed central station. It is one of the best in the country. For additional safety and security, we have two monitoring centers. Each monitoring center can provide full back-up and emergency staffing in case of a catastrophic event at the other facility. The monitoring centers are located in different states to enhance effectiveness. We are sorry that this glitch inconvenienced you. We have contacted you to request that you reconsider this posting in light of the fact that an equipment failure should not be used as a gauge of our level of customer service. It could have happened to any company."
