+ -1 moreI left phone messages twice, about a week apart, to set up an estimate for several trees to be trimmed and a couple of small trees to be removed. I never got a return call (maybe they thought my job was too small but how do they know if they don't talk to me?). I get it if they are busy and can't do the work right now but by not bothering to return my call they miss an opportunity to do future work for me.

+ -1 moreExcellent service. The arborist, Chris, came out and did the estimate. He listened to my concerns and answered all my questions regarding the pros and cons of certain trees that I had in mind for the planting. His work crews were very courteous, efficient and punctual! They cleaned up after themselves so well that I didn't even have to go back out with the broom to sweep. Chris also came by later to check on the progress of the job and followed up again with me on the care of the new tree. They also trimmed our Mulberry tree in the backyard and did a great job in shaping it.
Description of Work: We had a dead Pistache tree removed from our front yard in the strip between the curb and sidewalk.They removed the stump with an impressive stump grinder and hauled away the brush, wood and mulch. They planted a 15 gal Red Maple tree, and I requested the planting be according to San Jose city specs, which included building up a watering basin/soil well for watering, installed 2 root barriers parallel to curb and sidewalk, and 2 wooden vertical stakes. While they were here, we also had them trim our Mulberry tree in the backyard.
