"Dear [removed member name], Please accept our sincere apologies! We do show on our end that we sent a response, but obviously you didn't receive it. We noted that we responded, but unfortunately it was a note to say that we do not service the Brisbane area. Again, please accept our apologies. We take pride in our customer service, and do not want you to feel that your inquiry was not important to us. Sincerely, Cindy Faulkner, President, Valley Heating, Cooling and Electrical 408-294-6290"
I told him that my cold air duct was sitting on the concert floor.
At that point, he recommended to run two smaller ducts instead of one big one.
Art gave me a rough price on the phone before coming out to talk to me to see if it was worth coming out to my house.
He never went under the house to see the job, but gave recommendations from in the house.
He recommended Thermaflex, but had no idea about the product or had a price for it.
He was suppose to get a price for me. He never called and I left two e-mails and finally called the office and had them call him.
When he finally called me, the price went up for the cold air ducts from 700.00 to 1400.00.. I can't believe that an extra duct should be 700.00. He still has no price on the job.
He wasn't very pleasent and told me to go with ABC heating.
I thought that was very unprofessional on his point .
I was willing to work with him, but not now.
"Dear , I am very sorry to hear this, and want you to know that we truly value your business. I want to start by apologizing for your experience. Art really was looking at your timeline with the comment to go with another contractor. From your comments, I can see that he did not handle his frustration, and after discussing this with him - he really feels terrible and sends his regrets. I hope you can understand that mistakes happen, and with the busy time we can all get a little overwhelmed. No excuses, but just and explanation. Thanks for your comments, Again, we are all very sorry. Our team works very hard to provide Old Fashioned Service and this was not an example. I am happy to extend a credit/discount if you would be interested in giving us another opportunity. Please return my call. There were circumstances with the pricing. I know that Art was waiting for the vendor to respond, so he didn't have the information (other than what he showed you on his iPad). The product is not something we normally stock or quote, but he did know about it and thought that it would work for your application based on your comments. We can poke our head around under your house or in your attic, but it is not standard procedure for our estimators to go under the house, etc. Art does have the knowledge to be able to quote based on register locations and your home's layout. Also, he did explain the added return pricing, and I will be happy to go over that with you. I hope to discuss more over the phone. Sincerely, Cindy Faulkner, President, Valley Heating, Cooling and Electrical"
