When I phoned Johnson's to schedule an initial site visit, Scott Johnson asked if he could come over in 20 minutes. Okay! This was a tricky, dangerous job, removing a huge tree sandwiched in a narrow area between our house and the power lines, but Scott was undaunted. After comparing 3 or 4 bids on the job, we hired Scott to do the job. We originally thought we'd have to get PG&E to de-energize the high voltage lines. This proved problematic, as all we got from PG&E were delays and notice of a $4000 charge for this service. No thanks. At this point, Scott returned with some of his crew, who decided they could... very carefully... work around the insulated but live high voltage lines. Over a period of 3 days, in 95 degree heat, Scott's crew dismantled and removed one entire tree and severely pruned another. They hauled away all the debris, and, to our surprise and delight, even went up on our roof with leaf blowers to clean off what had fallen there. We have a Spanish-style orange tile roof, and the crew managed not to break any of the tiles (confirmed by a subsequent roof climb by a window washer to clean our skylight). Bottom line: Johnson's Tree Service did a great job in a speedy and tidy fashion.

The owner came as scheduled to look at the job and bid it. Work began as agreed and finished in a timely manner.

They were very professional, they did everything on time as promised. I would recommend them to others and I would use them again.

THESE ARE EXCELLENT TREE TRIMMERS, HARD WORKERS. DID A GREAT JOB. THE TREES LOOK GREAT, AND WE WILL USE THEM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.

I have used them the last three years. They clean up after themselves. Very happy with their service they are fully insured and they have there contractors license.
