I hired Mike to repair my vertical blinds. He took apart my head-rail but wasn't able to put it back together making a mess more problematic. His excuse: "This was factory assembled..." implied the job wasn't appropriate for human hands. However months ago I was able to hire another handyman who repaired and re-assembled this same type of head-rail. To my regret, the capable handyman wasn't available and I ended up hiring Mike. My advice to Mike: next time if you're not up to the job, please say so! Don't forge ahead creating more damage and wasting the client's time. Mike's rates are $69 per hour with a minimum of two hours. For his mediocre quality of service, this is not a fair price. Avoid at all cost!

Mike was great to work with. I needed help repairing a broken vertical blind clip at my rental unit. He stopped by to assess the problem. He went out of his way and did all of the research to find the manufacturer for a replacement part! I will definitely be calling Mike again.
