We are locally owned and operated, and have over 20 years experience serving the South Bay, Peninsula and East Bay installing and servicing residential and commercial doors and openers for thousands of satisfied customers. We carry all the major brands (NorthWest, Amarr, Clopay, Holmes, Genie, Linear and LiftMaster) and offer a wide range of models and styles of both garage doors and openers to suit your individual needs. In addition to our quality garage door products, we also offer and install RaceDeck garage floor tiles. These rubberized tiles are a great way to “finish” your garage. As well as being attractive, the tiles add warmth and safety, and are durable and easy to clean. I have an old garage door.
Mario had suggested to replace it and he gave me an estimate.
"This particular door is a heavy wood carriage style door that is 8' high and consists of only 3 - 32" sections. The headroom above the opening is very minimal making the operating clearances poor. We spent more time and work above and beyond the basic tune-up purchased to make the door and opener perform as smoothly as possible with the existing hardware and conditions. This door and hardware that was installed by another company is not a good fit for the existing clearances."
The worker showed up right on time, knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix the door. Besides replacing the spring, he also tightened the belt, greased the tracks and a number of other things. The door lifts perfectly now. Even smoother than when we bought the house four years ago. They had a great deal ($199 for a spring replacement and 25 point inspection), were prompt, courteous, competent and professional. I would highly recommend them!

Service was great and I would highly recommend this company. Beth in customer service contacted me by email and phone to schedule the service after I purchased the spring replacement on-line. She was very friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. The service technician, Mario arrived as scheduled and was extremely professional and worked quickly to repair the springs. Once complete he walked me thru all repairs and had me test the door and review the repairs. It was a very old roll-up door and it has never worked better. This is the first time I have used a company thru Angie's List and I was very pleased and will definitely use Halcyon Overhead Door in the future when I need repairs or door replacement. It is great to have a reliable, honest company to recommend to friends and family.
He was very helpful and professional and knew his how to get the job done with my safety in mind plus he was a nice person too.
