1. Installed tankless water heater on a spot not at a proper clearance height. Failed inspection. Had to reinstall machine. 2. Installed tankless heater and water softener with 20 small pieces of (untreated) plywood to hold together. Of course pieces of cut plywood rot with time. 3. Over threaded pipe. Instead of replacing that damaged part, the worker left it untightened and gas leaked. I told Chandler that I smelled gas. He said I was probably smelling carbon monoxide that is released from the machine. I told him that I will call PG&E because the smell did not go away. Chandler's response was "I wouldn't do that if I were you." 4. There are currently about 50 holes on the sidings from all the "fixes" of the poorly installed systems. They are not going to repair that. 5. They installed "recirc" which another plumber (of Chandler's) said was wrong. He took it off and left my sink unhooked to plumbing and without water. I asked when this will be completed, Chandler's response is "leave me alone." and there is no more response. I am reporting this company to all organizations that can help this company do better and not hurt other home owners.

The worker (Gavin) was great. He did a great job. The heater is working great. The only issue has no invoice.

He was able to give us an estimate over the phone for the model we wanted. When I called to schedule, they came the next day and completed the work. It took only about 2 hours and they were professional and courteous, explaining everything they did. They even replaced some worn hose parts. Beautiful job.

Chandler's had the best price, and even better service. Was able to schedule to meet our needs. Masks worn and all current health and safety protocols in place. Sorry our new house is so far away we can't use them for stuff there. We will however use them for the rental houses we have in San Jose when the need arises.

Chandler responded to my Angie's List contact within minutes of my request for bid. After explaining my problem to him, an appointment was scheduled for later the same day. The onsite plumber, Josh, then called me and was able to fit me in even sooner, which was nice because I had water leaking into my garage. Started out as checking the reason for a leak of an old toilet and decided to replace the toilet. Ray, the worker, was professional, knowledgeable, with a helpful sense of urgency - he was able to purchase and install the toilet in the same day - on the spot. I would hire again. YAYYY!

I have used Chandler's Plumbing several times for small things (toilet valve type of stuff) and also big projects (replacing water heaters). They have always been professional, thorough, and competitively priced (though not very punctual). The price always ends up as quoted or very close. Most recently we had an issue with a leaking water heater that resulted in some mold growth/drywall damage. Ishmael was able to quote a complete solution (mold remediation, drywall repair, replace water heater and leaking valves), meaning I didn't have to reach out to multiple companies and try to coordinate all their schedules together. After I pointed out that his workers tracked dirt all over the carpet, Ishmael immediately offered to pay to have the carpets cleaned (i.e. he took responsibility rather than making excuses). I would absolutely recommend them for any plumbing project, big or small.

dug a 6'x9' hole to remove a broke sewer line and didn't hurt my fence extremely happy with service. they bent over backwards to get the permits from the correct location. also I accidentally broke a hose connection on a copper pipe and they were able to fix that as well

It went awfully bad. This company have to be removed from Angie' s list ASAP. Plumber was unprofessional. Ordered wrong cartridge. Installed with big gap where water during showering can get inside wall. I Showed him how to fix the problem. Lost plug for handle. I have to order plug from Kohler for $16.67. I asked for reimbursement and they agreed to send me check. It took them about 4 weeks to send check. When I received that that they sent bounced check and my bank charged me additionally $12 for it. In addition I would like to discontinue my Angie's list membership and I want my membership also reimbursed.

Arrived on time, told me what they were going to do and got to work. What I thought would be a 2 hour job turned out to be a little longer by 2 hours. I can't complain since I'm not the expert and from what I observed, they used quality parts and installation was professional.

Chandler was wonderful! He showed up on time, with the new water heater, and was very polite and professial. He got the job done in a timely manner and cleaned up after himself. I was very impressed with the way he performed his job because I have had some horrible experiences with other handyman/plumbing companies. I would definitely use him in the future if I have any plumbing issues! Great work!
