They tried to charge me an exhorbatant price for things that turned out to be not required. Either he didn't know or they always just over charge. Sad.

I feel I was totally ripped off. A small section of sheet rock had to be removed to change a fitting on the drain. Then said I would have to get someone else to put new sheet rock back. It took about 30 to 45 min. it cost &750.00. The person that showed up was a different company then the one that called. I would definitely not recommend Allstar, or Home Advisor.

The tech (Joe) did as much as he could and got the toilet running again, but the tank was still refilling very slowly. After changing the flush valve and the shutoff valve, the only other component was the connector between the shutoff valve and the toilet, and Joe didn't have the right size in his truck. He suggested we call back if this became a problem. Well, it did, and we did. Joe came on a Thursday and we called back on a Sunday. Still waiting. Another call is probably in order. But he came when no one else would.

We called the plumber because we had a leaking toilet. The first thing the plumber said after he looked at the leaking toilet was "how much are you willing to pay to fix it?" The plumber stated that it appears the gasket needed replacement. We stated that we would not pay over $150. After working on the toilet for about an hour, the plumber said he needed to go and buy the part to replace it. When the plumber returned, he continued to work on the toilet; but, stated that he had the wrong part. Therefore, he said he had to go out again to buy another part. After 20 minutes, he returned and said the part is not available and we would have to wait three days. Later the plumber explained that he took a risk and used a different part, thinking it would work. We told the plumber to cancel the job because we couldn't wait for three days since we would not be able to use the toilet. The next day, we found the part in the morning and it only cost us $8 for the part. It only took us 20 minutes to look up the part on the internet and call around for it. After that, my husband managed to change it himself. The plumber should have checked the part # and called around for more expediency. Although, he was pleasant, he was unprofessional. He should not have used a substitute part; which was a waste of all of our time and his as well. Therefore, we would not recommend this company.

Signed agreement to start work on Friday. They were supposed to install on Saturday, but never showed. Called office to verify on Saturday morning and was told he would call me back, no return call. I wasted hours waiting on them. I called Sunday and they came out around lunch. I had to leave for an appointment and told the installer that. The office refused to let their man leave my property until paid.. My son had to pay them for me..

The technician was courteous and diligent.

Jose was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing. He was very thoughtful. Even wore botties to protect my new carpet. He fixed my clogged toilet in minutes.!

OVERPRICED WORK SATISFACTORY

Good in initial response to my need. A little slow in follow up actions. All during the holidays so slack is appropriate.

The workers were professional and completed the job in the time they promised.

The work was done well, however, we were scheduled for Wed. and they didn't show or call, then were rescheduled for Fri. and they didn't show or call? Finally after several calls by myself, they showed on Monday and completed the job. The poor communication by this company was very troubling and annoying.
