This is the first time I used them. They were pretty good. They listed all my options and told me what I could wait on and what things needed to be done asap.

Love this place. The owners are fair. Available to let you borrow a car while your car is in the garage. Friendly and professional.

My wife's Honda Fit was throwing an SRS (airbag) warning light on startup. AHC told me to take it to the dealer in case it was a defective switch in the seatbelt, which would have been covered by Honda's lifetime seatbelt warranty.
So I took it to the dealer to have a couple recall services done and have them look at the SRS light. The problem wasn't the seatbelt so they said they'd need a couple hours @ $150/hr to diagnose. At this point I consulted Jonas, one of the owners of AHC, and he told me to make sure they cleared the codes before checking them. I thought surely they would have done this, but they hadn't. Strike one. The car was still throwing two SRS codes though, so I decided to have AHC diagnose the problem.
So after an hour (@ $108/hr), AHC determines that it's only throwing one code (11-40, IIRC), not two (strike two against the dealer), and the problem is either the cable reel (clock spring) or driver's airbag. Now, if I had been at the dealer, their remedy would have been to replace both components (based on the stories of others who have had the same problem):
Diagnose: Two hours @ $150/hr
Cable Reel: ~$220
Airbag: ~$720
Labor: Three hours @ $150/hr (a guess)
--------------------------------------------------and shy;------
Total: $1690
AHC on the other hand, with an interest in saving me from unnecessary repairs, suggested first replacing the component which was most likely to fail, the cable reel, which was also the less expensive repair. That fixed the problem. It's been over a week now and the problem is gone. Total cost:
Diagnose: One hour @ $108/hr
Parts and Labor to replace cable reel: $436
--------------------------------------------------and shy;---------
Total: $544
So AHC likely saved me over a thousand dollars on this repair. I had done a lot of research on this problem on the Internet, and everything Jonas told me was consistent with the information I had gleaned from many sources. It also made me very aware that the dealer is not interested in saving you money. They think they have a captive customer base, so they don't try. In contrast, AHC has to rely on their good reputation to draw customers. Honesty, integrity, competency - AHC scores off the charts on all of these. One thing I really appreciated was Jonas giving me all the details about what the problem could be, what steps they were going to do to diagnose it, and what the costs would be depending on the different outcomes. At the dealership, they would have just told me it was going to cost $1600+ and that would have been it. The and quot;service writersand quot; at the dealership don't have the knowledge that the people you will talk to at AHC have, and they wouldn't take the time to explain it to you even if they did.
These guys are great. I take my Acura MDX there too. The free loaner cars are a nice bonus.

I was really impressed with the service, cost, and turn-around time.
Background: My A/C went out during a hot drive through Arizona at 110 degrees (shocker) back in late May 2013, and it wouldn't turn back on after. Once I got back to San Jose, I tried to fix it my self with the and quot;A/C proand quot; pressurized-can one can buy at your local Auto zone store, which failed.
HA Connection: Found them on Angies List and scheduled an appointment so I could use their loaner car. I was able to drop my car off early in the morning before work, at 8AM, and they reserved a Honda loaner car for me.
I explained what happened to the A/C in Arizona. James was the rep helping me. He was very kind, professional, and curteous (as he offered to help me carry a box from my car to the loaner car). James called me once they figured out what was wrong with the A/C system, and even noticed my belt was showing signs of excess wear. He explained there was no extra labor at this point to replace the belt since they had already gone and quot;that deepand quot; (my words) in the car engine, so it'd just be the cost of the belt. He explained the A/C compressor had gone out and I had two options: (1) purchase a new compressor from Acura for $1000, or go with a new aftermarket compressor, from, say Mitsubishi, for $500.
Also, I had remembered the hood struts on my car had gone out (it is a 2004 TL) making it hard to service the engine myself because the hood wouldn't stay open. James offered to replace the struts and he would only charge me the cost of the parts (so, no labor cost). Lastly, I told James I had my breaks replaced in October of last year by another ma/pa shop, and they've had a light squweek since. He took the time to explain what could be causing it, and what I could do to fix it. Ultimately there was nothing wrong with the breaks as they were aftermarket and had pleanty of life left on them - so they recommended I not replace them unless the slight squeak was bothering me. I declined to replace them.
A day later my car was ready for pick up. Upon checking out, they took the time to explain what they had done, including the last minute things I brought up over the phone (struts, breaks). To me, it seems he had my interests at heart in trying to save me money. When I went to my car I was surprised to find it washed! And, they allot 25mi per day on the loaner car, meaning I didn't have to fill it up with gas when I dropped it off - something the dealers don't offer.
All-in-all I was impressed with the thoroughness, professionalism, and quick turn around. James (Honda Acura Connection) has my business moving forward. Couldn't be happier.

Acura Honda Connection is a small family run kind of shop. All their mechanics are Acura Honda certified, so they know what they are doing. The service experience is excellent. They have free loaner cars depending on what kind of service you're doing. Their prices are very competitive. I've been using them for about five years.

I use them all of the time. They are honest. They don't tell you that you need something that you don't need. If you go in thinking that you need something and you don't need it they will tell you that too. They also have loaner cars.

I've been very pleased with them. They are very competent and very honest. It's run by 2 men. When I had a problem with the Fit, they just called me and said that it was going to take a day to get the parts from Honda to repair and actually asked me if I would rather wait to take it to Honda. I thought that was a very honest thing to do. I just think that they are really good. In fact, I'm going to use them next week.

I have been going to them from the last 15 years. They are trust worthy. They are good and get the repairs done when they say they are going to get the repairs done. Their prices are reasonable. The owners are wonderful. If I take my car in there asking for something that I don't need; they'll tell me that I don't need it and that's why they are trustworthy. They don't try to see me additional things that I don't need.

Very well- job finished in early afternoon as promised, and price was half what the Honda dealer would charge. I love that these guys provide a free loaner car, even for small jobs like an oil change.

We dropped my wife's '99 Acura Integra off on a Wednesday evening. On Thursday, the insurance adjuster inspected the car and working with Joey of A-H Connection, determined what repairs were going to be done. Joey called me on Thursday afternoon to tell me that everything was set and if all went well, they should be done the following Wednesday or Thursday.

Joey called the following Tuesday to tell me everything was going well. The maintenance repairs were all done, and the body work should be completed on Thursday. He also told me that he would probably not be in on Thursday, but co-owner, Jonas would be available for any questions.

On Thursday, I received a call that the car was completed and could be picked up any time. He also left a voice mail at home with the same information. When my wife saw her car, she was thrilled. Not only did the repaired bumper and headlight look absolutely perfect, the headlight lenses on the other side of the car that had not been damaged, had been polished to look almost brand new (and therefore match the new ones that had been installed). In addition, the car had been washed and waxed, wheels cleaned and tires Armor-All'd so the car looked immaculate. All the mechanical maintenance had also been performed as requested.

This car is my wife's baby. She bought it new, and with ~98k miles on it, it still looks almost new. We've been taking it, and our '02 Honda CRV, to A-H Connection for the last 5 years and have never had anything but a great experience. This is the first body work we've had done, and will definitely use them again in the unfortunate circumstance that we need work done.

Great experience. They seemed totally trustworthy, honest about what they could/couldn't do, as well as what the charges would be. They credited back services that were not needed(!) and the base prices were lower than dealer service. I will definitely use AH Connection again and recommend them to friends.

This is the first time I had my vehicle serviced at this facility. The service writer was pleasant and answered my questions re: what they were going to do. For this service, I got a loaner car from them. The repairs were done on time and I have had no problems with the repair.

My check engine light came on while driving to work, and my car stalled at a red light as well. I limped it in to their shop, which I found on Angie's List. They took me with no appointment, got me a loaner car, and had all the work done the same day. James, the service manager, called me three times to keep me posted as well as to tell me findings and to give me an updated estimate. They also gave me a little education on how I could have prevented one of the issues, and showed me the parts that they had to replace and why they did. They even doubled up the techs to get it done before 4:30, washed the car, and did it all with a smile. Very impressed - not your prototypical auto repair place - highly recommended!

They have the same expertise as the dealer and the price is comparatively less. They use genuine parts. They are extremely professional and they keep me informed about everything they do. They are very knowledgeable and noticed problems that the dealers could not. I ll always go to them for my vehicle service and repair.

I had a window fall off of its track. They were so reasonable in pricing to put a new track in that I decided to have my 105k service performed at the same time. Total price was $1,400, which was less than the quote from a competitor for only the 105k service. They also have fixed minor things and replaced bulbs entirely for free. A loaner car is available if you can't wait. However, the service is quick and excellent, so the wait is never too long. Can't recommend them enough! They are now the only place I go for service.

This was the first time I didn't go to the Acura dealer. I have always since I have had the 91 Acura Legend use Acura to service my car. I took a chance because I read such good things about them. They were very nice and helpful, didn't take advantage of me, and even gave me a loaner to use. When I picked it up it had been wash and ran and looked great. I would have paid double at Acura.
