I didn't get a chance to sign the estimate authorizing the work prior to the service provider doing the work -- I signed it afterwards. I would have preferred to understand the cost for the work before the work was done.

I was most unhappy with the timeliness of my appointment. I was given an estimate of one hour for a repair person to show up at my house. He was 1.5 hours late. Upon arriving he did not perform any work until I signed an estimate. The least he could have done was attach the hose to my water heater instead of letting it leak for another 15 minutes while he prepared a quote.
