Ideal Carpentry

Dennis gave us an estimate of $1650, which sounded fine. The day of the install he called me at work to say there had been a misunderstanding and the job would cost double. What could I say- we were caught completely unawares. The workers arrived at 9:30, which seems quite late. On the second day the key worker arrived at 10:30. They pushed to finish the job in 2 days but the whole ordeal was quite stressful. The last day Dennis sat in his truck until the workers finished, so he could collect his check yet he would not pitch in to help. Could not recommend them.

I have been working with Dennis and the work isexcellent. His pricing is fair and they take pride in their work.

The workers were on time every morning and very diligent on keeping the mess clean.

I have worked with them for approximately 10 years. Dennis does everything from very tiny jobs like mine to very large jobs; my jobs mainly run medium to small. I really highly recommend him; I would not have stayed with him all these years if he had not done good work for me. He is courteous, prompt and listens to me. We discuss things and he is very innovative when he comes up against a problem. He develops good, cheap and effective ways to get around the problem. He basically is a problem solver. Dennis has a lot of contracts in industries so we were able to get good deals on work that was well done. When he does not do the work, he knows people that do it well. He mainly works in homes and is not expensive, at least in our terms. He is prompt, cleans up after himself and is a kick to deal with. Dennis is also local in my neighborhood; which helps.
