 + -1 moreAlbert presented us with creative design options and then patiently worked with us on a final design (we dithered on one vs. two-story for awhile). His design ideas maximized space in a still small house. His ideas on finishes were fantastic. He saved us from ourselves on a number of occasions by discussing such seemingly small things as oven hoods, kitchen sink size, and bathroom paint color. He has a great sense of humor, which is probably always helpful in a construction project, but was a necessity with ours because we had a number of issues with the contractor and his subs. With Albert's help, we were able to resolve all of them. His experience and advice in both design and construction were invaluable.
Description of Work: Albert is a full-service architect. He was there from start to finish of the project. He designed our remodel and second-story addition (we did everything but the living and dining rooms), he oversaw the contract and bidding phases, he appeared before the planning commission with us, and he supervised construction. He helped us select materials and design custom kitchen cabinets.
