Ace's Garage Door Repair & Installation

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it worked out really well. They seemed like they knew what they were doing. He was knowledgeable, and I felt like he was trustworthy. The only thing that I didn't like, was that they are located so far away, that it took them a while to come out to my house and perform the services. There was something that was working fine when he was there, but it was not working after they left, so I called them back, and they came back and fixed it.

They were very accommodating on my schedule. I said that I could only be available after 6 pm and even though they did not initially promise that they can do it, they tried their hardest. The technician had a very good attitude and didn't' mind that he had to wait 15 mins for me. He came in and told me what was wrong with my door immediately and offer a solution. He was very confident in his answer and this is ultimately the reason why I picked him. Of course he also offered me a good deal. I had another quote the day before and even though the other company gave me the same quote, the other company said he could not promise that it would fix the problem. The work took about 30 minutes. and left the place clean like the way he found it.

They came out very quickly and did a good job. They replaced my rollers and told me to keep my garage door opener. They sent one tech and the entire process took about 45 mins to 1 hr. He wasn't pushy and didn't try to upsell me, but gave me options.

Sam provided the service and he did a GREAT job. Our garage door is over 20 years old and know that it needs to be replaced in the near future. When he was done, Sam took the time to point out the problems and also give us a rough estimate on a new garage door. Lastly, I had an incorrect address, but he found us! He probably would have been here right a 9:00 a.m. if he had the correct address. Based on his service, we would use ACE again.

The serviceman arrived on time and was very competent and professional. Although I had paid for an $89 special, he offered me an upgrade on the replacement rollers for $49, which I accepted. The upgraded rollers appeared to be much higher quality than the standard rollers. He completed the job in a reasonable time and left everything neat and clean.

After signing up for the Angie's Deal, the company responded quickly was able to schedule an appointment quickly, at my convenience (I provided 3 times for them that worked for me). Asher showed up on time and was professionally friendly. He explained what he was doing, and though suggesting my door's sprocket was badly worn, and needed replacing, I did not feel pressured to replace it. Upon understanding the problem, I was glad Asher diagnosed the problem and was happy he could take care of it on the spot. It did cost an additional $150, which I consider a savings compared to the expense potential if the door sprocket completely failed and the door itself was damaged. After Asher completed installation of the sprocket, the door is operating even quieter. Asher explained likely lack of regular maintenance resulted in the sprocket failure, and then explained how I can easily maintain it myself.

The tech showed up on time. Replaced rollers, lubricated the joints, balanced the door. Did what was needed and left within 45 minutes or so. The entire process was smooth and effortless. Tech was knowledgable and personable.

He did the rest of the rollers and lubricated the door. He also changed the overhead lights and programmed my remote. I would definitely use him again.

Service turned out to be unnecessary. As a new homeowner he was a VERY helpful instructor, explaining the recent malfunctions and showing a simple free cure, as well as showing me what is really good about what I have, how it works, and how to maintain it. So - WORTH IT.

My garage door had been very difficult to operate. I started with the $89 deal and had the situation analyzed as to what else was wrong with my door. The large spring had to be replaced and now my very old door works much better. Everyone I interacted with at Ace was quite professional, knowledgeable, and courteous.

The service person arrived as scheduled and was pleasant and professional. He also pointed out that my springs were quite a bit older than their guarantee, so I had him add spring replacement to the job. This, of course, raised the price a lot, but that's to be expected.

The service was great - on time, professional, and fast. The garage door is working much better, and is not nearly as noisy as it was. I recommend Ace, and will definitely use them again for our next garage door needs.

The technician (Mo) called at the start of the agreed on window to tell me he would be to the house within 10 minutes, and showed up in 5. He went right to work on the door, and was finished in less than 30 minutes. He gave me the bad, but suspected news that the opener was old and did not meet all the new safety codes. And he apprised me that the spring was getting old and would need to be replaced at some point. He demonstrated how the door opened more smoothly and quietly after alignment and balance we adjusted and rollers replaced.

The service I received was excellent. Muhammed called about half an hour into the appointment window to let me know he was about 15 minutes out. He arrived promptly, was friendly, courteous and professional. The work was done, as per the deal. He replaced the rollers, tightened the spring, replaced a number of missing bolts and nuts, balanced the door, and in addition, set up our second opener that I could not get to work. I appreciated the service and would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

Appt scheduled for between 1 - 5 pm on Tuesday, Nov 5, 2013. Nobody arrived during the first two hours so I called Ace Garage Door at 3 pm to ensure they were still coming. The woman told me he would arrive about 5 pm. I told her the appt was to be between 1 and 5 (4 hour block) and I would be leaving at 5 pm. She contacted the serviceman and he arrived about 4:30 pm. He was cordial but told me he couldn't provide any service because I didn't have a roller-type garage door. I said the offer said garage door tune-up. He said it only applied to roller-type doors. I said I would be calling Angie's List to request a refund. He offered to spray some silicon on the garage door springs which took about 1 min. I paid $89 for no service and request a refund. I believe the problem lies with how the offer was written and suggest it be explicitly stated in the future that it applies only to roller-type garage doors.

Everything went well. They contacted me promptly after purchasing the deal and worked around my schedule. One person came out and it took about 30 minutes to complete the work. I felt the technician did not communicate well however he did the work fine. I wish he would have communicated more. I am satisfied with the work and they did what they promised.

We had a little difficulty connecting to set up a date, but have it scheduled now. It's later this week.

Moe called ahead & showed up on time as promised. He is extremely professional, friendly & very knowledgeable. He replaced all the rollers, checked the door, opener & springs. He was very easy to work with plus fast & clean; I can definitely recommend him.
