The work was done timely. I had them back to do some work that I though should've been caught and fixed without me asking, which was also done timely.  I think they were a little haphazard with some things, such as how the plastic was laid down on my front steps, which actually caused me to fall.

Consultation:
No high pressure sales tactics. No requirement for both the husband and wife to be home. Actually, my wife and i were both at work on the day TR construction arrives to assess our roof. After that, a quote was sent to my email. I asked if we could discuss the quote in person and we set up a day for them to arrive and discuss the job. There was no high pressure sales tactics, person we talked to was genuine and honest.
The other companies I interviewed required both the husband and wife be home and they all used the old "If you don't sign tonight, we cannot honor the discounted price you see before you right now" Just a warning to other families out there, if a company requires both the husband and wife be home for the consultation, that's a red flag. That tactic is used to increase the success rate of getting a contract signed that night.
ROOFING JOB JOURNAL
Day 1:
TR Construction arrived 15 minutes early to start the removal of the roof. I introduced myself to the person whom I assumed was in charge before leaving to work. He explained to me all the work his team was doing for the day. I apologized to him for not being able to move my stuff away from the edges of the roof below and his team removed those items for me. Items included BBQ grill, chairs, canopy, Hamock, etc... I came back home from work and all the asphalt tiles from the roof were removed and they covered the whole roofing area with tarp.
Day 2:
TR Construction arrived in the morning and started installation of the asphalt shingles and drip edge. When I arrived back from work, the roof looked amazing. The shingles were the correct color and the drip edge installed was brown instead of white. Luckily for us, the brown drip edge turned out to be the better color that the one we chose. The heavy rain in San Diego the past few weeks has put our roof to the test and it holds up as expected from a properly installed roof.
Day 3:
TR Construction came to pick up any tools they left behind. They also placed my BBQ grill, hamock, canopy, etc.. back to where they were before they started the job. There was barely anything for them to clean up because they did a good job cleaning up at the end of each day. A final inspection was performed on top of the roof and around the house perimeter.
Conclusion:
TR Construction performed an excellent job while still keeping clean. The past 2 weeks was a true test to how great the installation was because it has rained so hard since they installed a new roof. My wife and I are very happy with the roofing job. An appointment has been set up for some remodeling work on our master bedroom. The water that leaked through the roof before the roof installation has caused damage to the ceiling in our master bedroom so they are coming back to perform some work to repair that.
I have other future projects for this house that I am looking forward to have TR Construction perform. 

I highly recommend TR Construction. We are very happy with the look and color of the stucco. They did a beautiful job.  We have gotten many compliments on the stucco work--in particular, from the window installer who has worked at many homes over his 50 year career!

We were impressed with everyone we dealt with?Tony the owner, Teresa and Linda in the office, and Cramer who is a master at door installation and all the carpentry that was required. The entire staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful about all aspects of the project.

TR Construction is a very well-run company. They communicated on a regular basis throughout the project so everyone was on the same page. They pay attention to detail and their workmanship is outstanding. Everything was always cleaned up nicely after their jobs were complete.

We are glad we hired TR Construction and will definitely give them a call when we are ready for future projects!

The owner, Toni, came out (7/25/2014) and gave me an offer I couldn't refuse and he didn't prolong the visit--less than 30 minutes.  I also met Mike (crew manager) and Teresa at their office to sign the contract and make color selections for shingles and drip edge.  I was originally told the installation would be 2 weeks away but Mike said the upcoming Wednesday was available
Demolition crew arrived at 7am and was done by 1pm, 7/30/2014.  They protected my wife's garden with supported tarpauline.  
Installation crew arrives and materials are safely delivered via conveyor belt.  They wrapped up at 1 pm on 8/1/2014.
Seamless rain gutters were installed the following Monday by Steve Barkley of the Gutter Connection--very professionally done and the color matches the house colors.
All crews were "strokers"--I didn't see any "slackers"--impressive!  
Upon completion I was given a 10 year warranty on labor and lifetime manufacture's warranty.
This company has earned my trust and I will utilize for future home improvements.

They removed the old sky light and replaced it with a new one. Their installation was professionally done to my satisfaction.

They did a very good job.  There was a water leak & kitchen door that need fixed, they were out right away to fix it.

Cleaned up after themselves and moved next door to do the neighbor's house.  Great company.

The roofing was really good.  They could have done a better job cleaning up.  They left some wood in my yard which caused some dead spots.

They're my go-to company for roofing. I've also recommended them to clients and they did my mother's home. The price they quoted to me was exactly that. Tony, the owner is a really nice guy and the office is easy to schedule with too. The timeframe between scheduling the estimate and having the estimator come out is very short. I have nothing but good things to say about them.
