They came to my home and replaced it. The work was excellent, they were very nice and helpful and I was pleasantly surprised at how little time it took them.

Great! I got an appointment quickly, they were right on time. They were efficient, neat and the windshield is perfect. I didn't think to review this as soon as it was done but now I have the ability to tell you that I have had no problem at all with the new windshield for over a year.

Our insurer connected us to Safelite and they came out and did the work promptly. Paid by insurer.

After I got home and pulled myself together, I called my insurance company: State Farm. They sent a young man to my house the next day who removed the damaged windshield and replaced it with a new one. He was very efficient (took about 2 hrs). He took the old one away and I paid him my $100 deductible. I was pleased with the house call, as I did not have to drive again with the broken windshield. I was pleased with the efficiency and quality of the work and the helpfulness of the worker, who explained details to me.

The crack in the windshield is still there and is very noticeable.

I used them last year and he did a good job. They came out to my house. He was reasonable, nice and explained what he was doing. He got it done quickly too and I didn?t have any problems with him.

He came out on time, and was even a little early. He called before, to let me know he was in the area. I have nothing but praise. He did a wonderful job. There was no glass around the car at the end of the job. I felt very comfortable having the technician here. I called around for quotes. Safe-lite comes out to your house, which was an advantage. Their price was the same as other businesses. He was very pleasant and and polite. I couldn't ask for better service. I would recommend them to my friends as well.

A replacement other than the dealer was hard to find for my car, but this supplier had it and was able to install in a couple of days. Good job with no problems

I was really angry. They fixed it. From the outside looking in and you can not see it. from the inside looking out it does not look fixed at all. I called them and they sent a guy out. He said sometimes you can not fix it to where you do not see it at all. I said it did not look fixed and he said well it was. It does not make sense to me. If they had done their job right I would not be seeing it. It was less then the size of a quarter.

The guys showed up in the 4 hour window they gave me and called when he was on his way so that part was good. This is where it breaks down today 4 months later I am driving on a side road. Its early and its cold. I have the defroster on. I driving like 2 miles per hr because I am checking out the waves and out of no where the windshield cracks in a big smile face pattern. IT happened instantly. It was shocking actually. I figured at the time well no big deal it is brand new and Safelite will replace it. Well I call up Safelite and they give me the 4 hr window as before. They queued me up on the call telling me that it might not be warranty as any damage will negate the warranty. I thought nothing of it because there was no damage - no chip nothing it just cracked. SO the technician showed up and took a quick look and told me that it was not a warranty. He says see the crack pattern stress cracks happen side to side. And there is a chip. There's a chip now man cause the thing just cracked. Long story short they wanted to sell me another windshield. I told them I'll give my money to someone else. After calling around this story is fairly common also I found a shop that for $29 more than I paid Safelite gives a no questions warranty. They just replace it if it breaks. Moral Shop around and don't use safelite. I have had 2 broken windshields in 10 years. The one before this and the one Safelite put on. I broke the one before this being an idiot so that kind of shows how great Safelites works is. Stay away.

I found this company on Angie's list so I checked their website for locations and prices. The price was ok and there was a retail outlet within a reasonable distance from my daughter's apartment. There was also a $20 coupon which was a plus. I setup her appointment over the internet for the coming weekend. I sent her the details of where, when, and how much, a couple of days ahead of time. Then, I crossed my fingers and hoped everything would work like I planned. I talked to her a few days after the appointment to find out how her experience was with this company. She was happy with her time there and said that everything went really well. The time given to accomplish the job turned out to be less than expected. All in all, the total experience worked as planned and she (as well as myself) was very satisfied with the work of this company.

We set up the appointment for between 8-12. The repairman, Christian, called at 8am to say he'd be there in 30 minutes or so. He arrived at 8:30am and was finished repairing the windshield by 9:10. He washed all the windows, vacuumed the floor and in the end, I could BARELY even see the original crack. I would DEFINITELY use them again.

I called their toll free number. They gave me a quote over the phone, then set up an appointment for me at their San Diego location on Dunbrook. I took the car in early and left it there. They took care of it before my appointment time.

Easy. I've used them before and have been satisfied every time.

I made an appointment, they fixed the window, explained what to be careful of, and I left.

I phoned for a quote for a rear glass replacement yesterday. The price was over $200 higher than the competitor I ended up choosing, who, by the way, came out later that day, on time, and who professionally installed the replacement glass. Both Safelite and the competitor were offering non-name brand glass. The warranty was the same. So, Safelite AutoGlass is overpriced, way overpriced. During the phone call when I simply requested a quote the agent asked for my phone number which, my better judgement clued me was suspicious. I asked why Safelite wanted it and assured me left and right they only wanted it in case we were cut off, so she could call me back. (This turned out not to be true.) I explained I REALLY did not like giving out my phone number and especially didn't want it ended getting sold off for marketing purposes or used for any further sales calls. The representative promised again she only needed it in case we got cut off and she promised she would delete it from her computer as soon as we finished the call. She and I actually went into great depth talking about how sacred personal information is and she concurred; not only that,but she promised she had in fact checked their system herself (on some previous occasion) to be sure this important private information actually got deleted. It didn't. The next day, today, I got a phone call from Safelite glass from a sales guy, who, after he mangled my name, presumably because either he couldn't read or Safelite can't type, offered to try to offer me a better price (for the auto-glass that had been replaced the day before). I asked to speak to a supervisor who apologized and explained they have two departments and my phone number ended up in the sales department (dah). She promised to delete it. There is no basis to believe that's true. Reasons not to buy from Safelite: 1. Apparently they do not tell the truth about why they collect personal information. 2. There are MUCH less expensive vendors to choose from. 3. If they are not good with spelling it's hard to think they are good with more complicated tasks.

Quarter size chip, from a rock in windshield, repaired. Took about 25 minutes. Repairman on time, efficient, professional, friendly, and completed a quality job.

The day of the appointment, I received a call from the repairman stating when he'd arrive (the original appointment gives you a window of a few hours). He appeared on time, had me sign a work order to get started, then got down to business. He was done in about an hour. I paid via credit card and signed the receipt. Car was clean and the new windshield makes the whole car feel new(ish) again.

Safelite Auto Glass was recommended by my car insurance. The people at Safelite were courteous from the very first contact, all the way through the completion of the job. The technician did a good job of replacing the windshield- no leaks!

A rock hit my windshield and made a small hole in it. It spidered out a couple of inches. The receptionist said they would try to repair it but it might spider out more and then I would need a new windshield. The young man who showed up took one look at the windshield and said I would need it replaced. I had read on the internet that if the spidering is less than the size of a dollar bill, it can be repaired instead of replaced. Since it was smaller than that, I asked him to repair it. I had to talk him into it. He said he would do so, but couldn't guarantee that it wouldn't further spider. He did the work, and just as he suspected it spidered out. So, he obviously knows his stuff! I have ordered a windshield through the dealer.

It has broke four time since they did the work for us. They still can't figure out why it is not working so instead of putting in another one they just gave us our money back and told us to take it to the dealer. They did replace a windshield in two cars for us and that went well it is just this job that did not go well. I would use them for window installation.
