The staff at the Loss draft department are not helpful. After I stated my repair work was 100% complete, they offered in no way to help me expedite the process. I mailed all my paperwork per their instructions. They called over a week later to tell me something was missing and asked me to fax it in. I was never offered a fax number on the first 3 calls even though I was clear, we wanted to move this process along. I faxed in my request today and was told by the rep, to call back today and leave 2 hrs for the fax to be received. I called today and was told by a different rep it takes 24 hrs to receive a fax. My biggest issue is you always speak to another person on every call, and each person tells you to do something different. They also require an inspection, which takes up to 8 bus days for the inspector to call you to set it up, I have no idea how long they will schedule my inspection, once I am contacted. They will not place my name in queue to be called until this paperwork is received. Which again, could have been faxed over a week ago, had the rep offered the fax option. My claim is a tiny amount 11k. The hoops I have had to jump thorugh are unreal. Multiple disbursements, mulitple inspecitons, multiple forms all for a siding job. I will certainly look to refinance soon, I am so disappointed with the level of customer service I have received. It's Sept 20th and my contactor has not been paid a dime, the work was completed over a month ago. And following Plaza Home Mortgage's steps, this will take almost another month to get the money to them. Very disappointing.
