He really took a lot of time with me, and also helped my daughter with her computer as well.  He spent around an hour at my house and actually came under the estimated price.  He did a great job and I would highly recommend him!

I had a computer worm. I got an appointment the same day. The technician was on time, found and fixed the problem in an hour, and clearly explained what he did. Since I had spent a fair amount on their previous visit, they made this repair free.

I called On-Site Techs and was given an appointment the next day with an arrival window of 10:00am to 12:00pm. John Airy, the tech, called me a little after 10:00 and said he'd be there just about 11:00 and he was. He had the computer fixed within about 30 minutes. ( I'd replaced the system battery with a new one that was apparently defective.) Their hourly charge is $90.00 but he wanted to charge me only $50.00 since the repair went so quickly. I suggested that he could perform some other system maintenance items for me to fill out the hour, which he did. The computer is now running faster and functions perfectly. John was completely professional and personable and I'd recommend On-Site Techs without reservation.

I called John and he came out the next day he was on time.
He charges $90.00 for the first hour and $22.50 every 15 Min after.
John spent an hour and 50 min and he only charged me $90.00 he is very honest.

I will use him again.

've had problems with my computer for over a year.  I took it to one of the chains to their tech support.  I paid $200 to have it fixed and had to return 2 more times because it was still acting up.  I decided to go on Angie's list to find someone since I didn't trust the other place after 3 visits.  I called On-Site-Techs and made an appointment.  He came within a day of calling.  He worked on my laptop for an hour.  He ended up taking it in to work on it.  I got it back on Monday as promised.  He removed two viruses that were hidden.  He also fixed the problems that were slowing it down.  It was well worth the extra money and time because now my computer is back to normal.  I would recommend him to anyone having trouble with their computer.  I just can not thank him enough!!  Amazing!!

Upon arriving to my home, technical issues prevented the cloning operation to be completed on-site. The desktop had to be taken to their own repair facility, and it was returned to me the following day. That event had an impact on the original estimate, due to the added labor and a second trip to my residence.  The initial and subsequent appointment  times were adhered to and John Airy maintained on-going phone contact.

The business owner, John Airey, called 20 minutes before arriving to announce his pending arrival. After greeting and shaking hands we had 4-6 minutes of introductory conversation in which I gave the history of the problem. I stated that I would like him to look at the laptop and make a recommendation for the most cost effective problem resolution; repairing the cause of the malfunction or purchasing a new, comparable laptop. John proceeded to disassemble some of the laptop components. He took approximately 15 minutes to determine the probable source of the power failure and demonstrate the issues he found. After the laptop was reassembled, John gave the most viable options and indicated which course of action he thought most reasonable. I most appreciate the fact that John did precisely as I requested. He was professional and pleasant - without digressing to unrelated conversation or information that was not pertinent to the job. He gave his estimate on the most economical repair versus the purchase of either a refurbished or new laptop. He also recommended 3 websites that best provided those products and two local vendors that he would personally recommend. When asked if he had any financial interest in any of the website stores or local providers, John paused - looked at the floor - and mused, " Hmmm, now there's a thought - maybe I should charge them"? My sister and I laughed with him. I hesitate on mentioning the following, but I think it is an important indicator of Onsite Techs' business/work ethic... I contacted On-Site Techs by phone and spoke initially with a representative. Within 15-30 minutes I received an email answering my first questions, 1) What was the rate for a service call and, 2) would it be less expensive if I were to bring the computer to their office. John Airey responded promptly with the information. I replied via email - contradicting myself about the desired date and time for an appointment. Again, a very prompt reply asking for clarification. Due to the mix-up in the email I believe, my appointment didn't get on the service schedule. From the tone of the email communications I fully expected John to arrive punctually. When the appointment time passed, I called the business number and John answered. I mentioned the appointment and although referring to a two-week old conversation - he recalled the emails. He verified the facts and apologized sincerely that somehow the correct appointment had not been transferred to his schedule. He asked if I was still available and said he could be there within an hour. He called forty minutes later to say he would arrive in twenty minutes... which he did. At the end of the appointment John presented a discounted bill as an apology for the belated appointment accepting all responsibility for the confusion. On-Site Techs represents exactly how a business should operate - professional, courteous, efficient, accurate, and determined to have only satisfied customers. I will certainly call On-Site Techs the next time I need computer service and/or require information. John is an excellent source of information and seems to have a very large breadth of understanding many computer related topics.

My computer had been running very slow for some time. Also, something in the tower had been making a really loud noise. It had been suggested to me that installing more memory, and giving the tower a good cleaning would solve my problems. Based on the excellent reviews of "On-Site Techs" on Angie's List, I decided to give them a try. After listening to my problem, the woman who answered my call suggested I talk to John, the owner. He retuned my call promptly and we set up a meeting at my home. John arrived on time, explained what he was going ot do and how he would be calculating his charges. He got right to work disassembling and cleaning the tower and, then, installed an additional.GB of memory. I now feel like a have a brand new computer - it runs quietly and quickly. John was friendly and professional - I would definitely use him again and recommend him to others.

Fantastic. PC runs dramatically faster (probably because copying files cleans up fragmentation and new drive has a huge 64 MB cache). Has not blue screened once since I've had it back. Then, today, John went out of his way to help me get virus checking running again. He gave me recommendations of eight software products that he uses regularly. On his recommendation, I replaced my Norton 360 (good riddance) with ESET Smart Security 4. Could not be happier. John seems to eat, sleep and breath computers. I am a computer engineer in a different part of the business from John, and I can tell you he really knows his stuff!

We had a number of problems with our laptop computer. I am doubly handicapped by the fact that I am not very computer literate and found it difficult to articulately explain all the problems. Did not know where to turn for help but when I saw the recommendation in Angie?s List, I thought there might be hope with OnSite Tech. But could they live up to their reputation? Well, they absolutely did. John was amazing. I liked the idea that he works on the computer at your home in front of you so you can see (and learn from) what he does. John explained as he went thought the various check-ups. He was not only professional, on time (even early with an advance call-ahead) but extremely knowledgeable about his field. He did an excellent job giving tips and explaining what he was doing and why. My computer is running so much better now. Additionally he helped my husband set up and improve his computer. He spent extra time answering our questions and made sure we understood. We were very satisfied with our experience with OnSite and will definitely contact them again.

From start to finish, John was very professional and very helpful as well. John said he could come the same day I called which was in the evening. John was very polite and called before he arrived to say he could come earlier than the appointed time. Since I was in the midst of preparing dinner I said that although that would be good 7pm would be best. John got right to work investigating the malware on the computer and getting rid of the problem. He also installed a good anti-virus program that he recommended and gave me some other tips on how to avoid problems in the future such as keeping passwords safe. Everything was checked out before John left so that there was nothing left of the malware on my computer.

I was very pleased. John is very professional and very knowledgeable, and took the time to find out what I wanted and how I used my computer. He didn't "push" one way or the other. Also, when the day comes that I do buy a new computer, I can call him, and he can load up the new one with any of my photos or programs that I want.

They did a great job. My hard disk wasn't working, and he was able to recover data that I thought had been lost. He had a device that he was able to hook up to the computer to recover the data. I need a new computer, but he did a great job. I highly recommend him. The price was comparable to what I think I would've gotten elsewhere. It was higher than what I wanted to pay, but comparatively, it was fine.

John came to help us on two different occasions. Both times he called when he was on his way (which is so helpful!) and was going to be early, if that was OK with us. He stayed late on a Friday evening helping us with some final details. He is proficient on both Macs and PCs, which makes him great to work with on all of our IT needs!
