Master Plumbing & Leak Detection

Overall very good. They canceled two afternoon appointments in a row, hence the C for punctuality, but were able to get me a first thing in the morning appointment on a Sunday. The plumber showed up early (3rd time is the charm) and rapidly completely the job and was very neat about the work.
I would definitely use them again but only if I could get an appointment for first thing in the morning.

When Ross saw the existing regulator he said that it is not a $400 regulator and that it was $550 instead! I informed him that we sent pictures of this thing to Mike w details on size of pipes, etc. Needless to say I did not let him do it. Cannot help but feel that it was a complete waste of both our times. There was a 2 hr window given prior to his arrival. He arrived 5 min after the 2 hrs expired.

The experience was great. Mike found the leak in a copper line that was behind the wall quickly fixed it. He was friendly and he did not try to up sell me on other projects. Also, he mentioned that they will help do it yourselfers at no charge over the phone or through videos they have. I would recommend.

The plumber arrived almost right on the expected arrival time and the whole effort took about 2 hours. I did not have an estimate up front. I've used Master Plumbing in the past and new that the price would be a little more but the job would be right and done efficiently. I had purchased the new garbage disposal from Home Depot and the plumber quickly removed the 12-year old Badger from my sink. I chose to add on the new plumbing under the sink because I wanted the garbage disposer relocated. The plumber had zero issue with my request, thought it made more sense than the original plumbing and he set off to work. After he finished the kitchen, he tackled the bathroom toilet and had everythign patched up within 30 minutes. He cleaned up around both areas and I have a much better kitchen and bath.

We called about a musty odor in a bedroom thinking it might be a slab leak. But the woman who answered my call asked a series of questions that she thought ruled out a slab leak. Although leak detection costs $200, she offered to send someone out for free just to look at the situation. Carlos was punctual, quite knowledgeable, and pointed out some non-plumbing problems that were probably causing the problem. Turns out, he was correct. No charge. But we will use them for all future plumbing issues. They are honest and comptent. Nice combo!

The Master Plumbing plumber arrived on time, inspected the leak and promptly informed me I did not have a plumbing problem, and instead had irrigation issue. Moreover, he said that his company could handle the problem, but that it would probably be more cost effective if I called a landscaping company instead. The point is that this plumber could have told me anything and I would not have known the difference. In short, this plumber was HONEST! Moreover, he asked since he was there if I had any other plumbing issues he could address. I told him one of my toilets seemed to be leaking immediately he saw what the problem was. I had previously purchased a couple of different floats that did not seem to fit properly. Instead, this plumber went out to his truck and retrieved a new float, which he promptly installed. Now, the best part. When I asked him what I owed him, he said and quot;nothingand quot;, that he really had not done any real plumbing work. This was remarkable! My father was a blue collar carpenter for 50 years and I thought one of the last honest tradesmen. I can happily report that honesty is alive and well at Master Plumbing and Leak Detection. I whole heartedly recommend this company and will use them again for my plumbing needs!

The plumber, Tony, is extremely professional, knowledgeable,
and honest. He responded to our request for leak detection services and
found and repaired the leak quickly and efficiently. We have also used
master plumbing to fix 2 toilets, and a hose spout in the backyard. I
would recommend Master Plumbing to everyone with plumbing needs. I wish
all plumbers and contractors could be as professional and as
knowledgeable as Master Plumbing.

Overall, it was done exceptionally. We were so happy with the outcome. Mike is the gentleman that initially came out and did the inspection and estimate. I felt that he was totally open and honest about the situation and did not speak to me in a condescending manner because I was female. He ran a couple of ideas by me as I was the only one at home at the time and was very kind in explaining what would need to be done. After the estimate and camera inspection they started work 2 days later to coincide with my days off. It went very smoothly and quickly. Of course we had to plan for any unexpected problems or delays but none happened. I was amazed at how efficient this company was at digging up the front yard, jackhammering up the garage floor, pulling out and replacing new pipe. They were neat and tidy, put things back the way they were supposed to be and moved on to their next task. Mike kept in touch with me to let me know how things were going, to ask me if I had any questions about anything and to generally calm my nerves. He answered my questions without getting aggravated, was attentive at the job site and seemed very educated and knowledgeable in what he was doing. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone needing any type of plumbing work done.

Talk about a wonderful experience. Robert did an amazing job, was informative and made the entire experience entirely easy for us. Master plumbing came in after another plumber botched the job. They did everything correctly and quickly.

They are professional and work quickly. The workers are friendly and they got the job done in time. The pricing was good and I would recommend them to others.

After performing a leak detection to determine the source of the leak ($200 paid for by homeowners insurance to determine no water damage to the house), Tom came back the following week to effect the repair. While performing the repair, he discovered that the hot water line from the kitchen to the master bath (that also ran in the slab underground) had already been bypassed at some point in the past. This did not impact the current repair. While $1700 for less than four hours work seems excessive to me, it was less than another estimate that I had received. Also, it included the cost of materials. I guess it pays to be in the plumbing business.

They were punctual, they came at the time that was appointed and they were very professional. They did a really good job on my bathroom. I haven t had any problems with it since they came out. I also liked the workers, as they were very nice people.

Daniel arrived on time, just when he said he would be there. He began working on the outside before I arrived. Very nice job, did exactly what we had discussed a day earlier. When he was replacing the shower valve, he had to knock out some tile in order to access the old valve. This was done without any explanation, so I was surprised to see him doing it. It would have been better if he would have explained this BEFORE breaking the tiles. He then said he would return the next day to finish the overflow and drain because he didn't have the right parts on hand. When he didn't, I called the office and he was sent back two days later. Saying he was finished, he left the overflow with large rust spots showing. He went back to dress it up with caulking only when my wife complained about it. A smoker, his breath was offensive. He never smoked in my house, only in his van. He left a few cigarette butts near the curb. The job ended up just as we hoped for, but was expensive.

New Kohler toilet, supply line, and angle stop for $300 including labor. Pretty good price. Another plumber quoted over $400 for the same thing. Did not remove dried caulking around old toilet footprint. Had to do that myself. I'd rate the experience a 10 for price, 9 for quality of work, and 7 for timeliness due to 3 visits needed to complete the job.

I liked their work very much. The guy was very professional, thorough, neat. He even stayed here until 8 o'clock to finish the work before my houseguests came.

Very good. They came to us through our home warranty company, and we would ask for them or call them in the future. The plumbers were professional and very courteous. The scheduler was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

WE HAD A MAJOR WATER LEAK IN OUR HOME AND WHEN WE CALLED THIS COMPANY A MAN CAME OUT TO LOOK AT THE SITE. HE SAID THAT IF THE LEAK WAS FOUND NOT TO BE TOO FAR INTO THE SLAB THE PRICE MIGHT GO DOWN. THE ACTUAL WORKERS THAT CAME OUT WERE WONDERFUL AND NICE, AND STATED IT WAS NOT ACTUALLY UNDER THE SLAB, BUT IN OUR GARAGE. THEY REPAIRED THE LEAK AND WROTE UP THE PRICE. WE TOLD THEM WHAT THE EST. HAD BEEN AND THEY WOULD NOT LOWER THE PRICE DESPITE THE EASY FIX. THE WORK HAD ALREADY BEEN DONE AND I FEEL THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE FLEXIBLE.
