It was good. I was in the market for another IS250 and my husband happened to be in the Toyota dealer with his car and saw this one on the lot and he told me it was there, and so we went over there and checked it out. I’m looking for one, but I didn’t find this one, my husband did. We bought some sort of auto care, like a service contract that reduced the price of the whole thing so everything was financed.

Don't go there. They tried to scare me into a very, very expensive job. They claimed if I drove out of there that the car would probably drop me at the intersection. I told them to just put it back together and left. I would never go back there.

Made an appointment and arrived on time.
Takes a few minutes to check in if it is a busy time of day (i.e. just before work).
They have a nice waiting room with free wifi. So you can do some work or surf the web while you wait for the service. Prices are reasonable for a basic oil change -- coupons or buy 4 get 1 stamps help keep the average cost down.

The part that needed to be replaced for my air conditioner was expensive. They were up front about the cost and asked lots of questions before we came in so they could give us better information before we brought the car in. They even called another service center for some more information about our car before we agreed to do the service. They are professional and our air conditioner works great. We work with Ron Watzek.

They were very prompt. They're always close on their estimates. They always keep you informed. Their staff was good and we're very pleased with them. They didn't try to sell more things for my car but they offered us some discounts or coupons that we can use to help with the cost. They treat you very well and they know what they're doing.

I went with the intention of a timing belt change, since I was at 96,000 miles, the manger suggested a complete service. I agreed, since I drive over 20,000 a year, it is important to me to keep my car in the best shape it can be. I left the car on a Friday morning and they offered me a brand new Toyota Camry for a loaner. During the day, the manager called me and they found a couple of seals and leaks and asked me if I would like to have everything fixed while it was there. I said ok, and asked if they had time for a detail, he told me that it would not be ready that day, but Saturday. I told him that I would not be in town Saturday, but pick the car up Monday. He said no problem. When I picked up my car Monday, I was not thrilled with the detail, he said no problem, just bring it back any day and he'llgive me another loaner that day. I brought the car back on Friday August 10 for another detail (at no charge) with another new Toyota for a loaner. I was impressed, when I picked up my 2006 Camry the next day, it looked brand new, even the inside....the best thing about this story, I left 2 sets of golf clubs in the trunk of the rental, which I’ve noticed missing an hour later. I called the service manager, and he promised to have my clubs back to me where ever I would be. Within an hour he called and said the clubs were at the dealership. Since I was still close by, I picked them up. Lesson learned, always check the trunk before you return a rental. But the service at Kearny Mesa Toyota was excellent. Thank you all for your pleasant and painless transaction. Great service :-).

There was a little bit of confusion, possibly due to having reduced staffing on the day after Thanksgiving. First of all my auto was sent off without the and quot;hatand quot; number, the little number on the cone placed on top of the automobile to match in up to the service request . This delayed the repairs a bit.

I was asked if I had a service appointment. I explained to the Kearny Mesa Toyota representative that I had called on the 22nd of November to make an appointment and was told none was required. This is the second visit where there has been confusion over whether an appointment is required or not.

The tire cover (hub cap) fell off the day after the rotation. The same thing happened the day after my previous visit to Toyota Kearny Mesa for a tire roation. The replacement costs over $90 and the dealership never offered to replace the lost tire cover both times I reported the problem.

While watching television in the waiting area, one of the Toyota Kearny Mesa staff members changed the station from CNN to Fox News. I asked, and quot;Why did you change it?and quot; His answer, and quot;CNN stands for Communist News Network.and quot; I said, and quot;You should not mix your politics with customer service.and quot; He did not reply.
