Higuera's Tree Care

He came when he said he would come, did what he said he would do. nothing fancy, just what I paid for.

Mr. Higuera provided a free estimate for a major trimming of a large tree. He arrived with his crew exactly on time and went over the day's plan, and provided an estimated completion time. The crew was equipped with all the tools they needed and understood clearly what was going to happen. They worked very well together as a team. With one man in the tree and two working the brush falling to the ground, they worked efficiently in removing nearly a dozen large overhanging branches. Using ropes, the crew controlled the fall of the large branches and brought them safely to the ground. At all times, the crew was focused on doing no damage to anything in the yard. After all the overhanging branches were trimmed off, the crew worked speedily to chip the removed limbs and brush, and to clean up the yard. They were done exactly on the schedule Mr. Higuera provided, and with the exception of a neatly trimmed tree with new growth branches left intact, there is little sign they were ever here.

They were good, and I probably would use them again in the future.

Even though it was my husband who actually spoke to the men, I could see what a good job they did. I also appreciated how well they cleaned up afterward!

I called to arrange an estimate. This was arranged for two days later. Hernan came on time, we quickly agreed a reasonable price and set a date for the work a few days later. Hernan came on time and did a very nice job.

This guy is a true professional! I called him, he turned up when he said he was going to turn up..and quot;on timeand quot; he gave me an estimate, told me when he would turn up with his team..told me what to expect in the way of destruction of my garden, and I just had a good feeling about him being a professional, checked his License out! he informed me to check out his previous jobs which shows Honesty as far as I am concerned..which I did..so gave him the job!

On the day of the job, it looked like an army had turned up on my door step, they all set to work immediatly with Hernan over- seeing them, they worked like crazy people from the minute they turned up until they finished, EXCELLENT JOB! clean up was amanzing..you would never have known they were there! which I loved! wonderful contractors who love their job and it shows, we had fun...their singing shows they love what they do..I bought them lunch because they deserved it and I just HAD to...I was so pleased with what they had done to enhance my new garden..will definantly recommend them again and in fact have already done so with a friend of mine who called me this morning to ask for their information.

They responded to the initial call in a reasonable time. One other company listed on Angie's List never responded to my call after I left a message with their answering service. They work around the University City area and UTC but are just a few guys I believe. They gave me an estimate within hours and it was less than another I had gotten over the phone. They did the work the next day. They cut off too much from one palm tree, but that was my fault for not being more specific with what I wanted. On the other hand it will be a long time before another trimming is needed. They cleaned up the area nicely. Jamie insisted on meeting me to pick up the check, did not get his last name. Seems reasonable for straight forward work at a cheaper price.
