"We were contacted by Michelle on Nov. 2109, I provided an estimate. In May of 2021, I received a call from Michelle asking if the proposal was still good. I expressed to her that while "everything" has gone up I'd be happy to help her with her project. the original estimate. The work was completed on a Friday and I asked Michelle to inspect the work and if there were any issues we'd address on the following Monday. I returned on Monday spent about 1/2 hour "touching up". I walked home with Michelle and she said it looked great! Thanked me and paid her balance. Two weeks pass and I receive a call from Michelle to stop by and address a minor issue. I told her "happy to do so and please take a look to see if there were any other concerns that I could address while I was there". We met at her home at the scheduled time addressed the "minor issue" (2 minutes) she thanked me again for coming out. This scenario repeated itself on 3 more occasions verbatim ... literally. On the last visit, I mentioned it would be helpful for all parties to have a complete list of her concerns and that each trip to her home takes about an hour of travel both ways to address a couple of minutes of suspect touchup. That would not be a problem as "everything looks great" and thanked me again. Two weeks pass and I receive a call from Michelle that in a certain light at a particular time of day a section on the garage frame "looks funny", I again schedule a time at that certain time of day. When I arrive she says she is too busy to show me the problem, fine. I check the area see no discrepancies and left. While this was an exasperating experience this is our approach to callbacks and it hasn't changed. if you have a problem I am happy to address your concerns. Michelle is an anomaly, in that 99% of the time, a punch list of item(s) is a one-time thing, while I cannot speak to Michelle approach in working with someone in a service industry. I can say If she called today to schedule a time to look at the trim on the garage that looks a little funny at a certain time of day I'd set the appointment."
