The refrigerator works fine now.

Service was prompt and reliable. the service people were professional,friendly and helpful.

They ordered the part and when it arrived, they replaced it and our oven works again!

After reading all the rave reviews, I selected 9-1-1 Appliance Repair to fix our dishwasher. I called them early in the morning and left voicemail to call back. Nobody called. A few hours later I called again and spoke with Ava. She said she tried to call us back but heard something like a fax sound. We don't have a fax. Ava said technician Ray would be out the next day between 10:00 and 12:00. The next day Ray showed up at 12:15 with no truck. I've seen their trucks in my neighborhood so I was surprised he didn't arrive in a truck--it didn't seem very professional. Ray took the door apart and diagnosed the problem. The bottom part of the damp(er) was rubbing on something and breaking off in pieces. He broke off the rest of the pieces and told me this would not affect the dishwasher. He put the door back together and tested the dishwasher to be sure there were no leaks. Then Ray wrote out a bill for $75.00. I showed him the "$15.00 off any service coupon" I had and he said he couldn't honor it because $75.00 was their minimum charge, and all he could do was take $10.00 off. After a bit of discussion Ray took the coupon and charged $60.00. To his credit, Ray did wipe his shoes before entering the house, he did clean up all the mess, he did ask if he could put his clipboard on the kitchen counter, and he did not ask to use our bathroom. Although the work was done properly (as far as we can tell--it was only yesterday), the phone mix-up, the late arrival, the no truck, and the argument about the discount will prevent us from hiring this company again.

Our frig was running almost constantly. Jesse arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem and got it fixed. The price was very reasonable and the service was prompt, professional and effective.

Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend 9-1-1 to others.

It started off rocky. I called before Thanksgiving and they came out and ordered a part and they were supposed to call me on Monday, and I did not hear from them, so I called them and they said they had to talk to the guy who came out. He did not get back to me so I called again. It had nothing to do with the organization part, except the tech was the one who held things up. They sent out another person with the part because the original guy had been on vacation, or something. They did a wonderful job. They were very pleasant and seemed to know what they were doing. It got fixed. The price was good. I did not have to pay the service fee because they had a coupon.

The service personnel was very dedicated to repair the ice maker; even suppling a loaner refrigerator and freezer. The only issue was getting parts from the manufacturer, which took almost five weeks. Otherwise, recommend this company!

I was very impressed with the company and with the representative who came to my house. Unfortunately, the charges to fix the appliance were high because there were several problems. It is less expensive to replace the appliance. So, I had to pay for the visit & labor but, I received excellent service and would definitely use them again.

The only problem I had was that I didn't have the big deal printed out at the time of service. However, once he did come out the work was done promptly, efficiently and I was happy with his service.

Jess from 9-11 Appliance Repair arrived at appointed time. He confirmed that a new gasket was needed, and that he would call us back to let us know what the cost of the gasket and shelf parts would be, and to get our approval before he ordered them. He called back the next week and said he was unable to find the replacement parts for the door, but he did find the gasket , and the cost was $ 179.00 . We gave our approval. Jess returned to install the gasket on July 27th. The freezer is in the garage. After sometime, Jess called for my husband and told him the gasket did not fix properly and that there would be no charge. The freezer was full, and my husband used a bungie cord to keep the door closed. On July 30th, Olympia from 9-11 Appliances called and asked if she could have a senior technician work on the freezer. We said absolutely. On August 3rd. the tech ( sorry I did not record the name) worked on the freezer. Told us the reason the gasket did'nt work is because there was damage under the bottom of the door. A few days later my husband went to open the door and it fell of its bottom hinge. The hinge screw was missing and there was "NO" damage to the bottom of the door. We feel the tech broke or damaged the screw , and was dishonest with us.

Service was scheduled on time, repairman was polite and courteous. At first he came out and wasn't able to repair my washer because replacing the part would have more costly, but he came back another time to help me with my refrigerator. I thought he was very helpful.

Took longer then I thought in finding part. Once part was found, fix quickly.

I signed up for "big deal" but when I contacted the company they told me that they did not service my area.

The service call to determine problem with refrigerator was very efficient. The cost of the service call was applied to the whole job. The only problem with the job was that the parts to repair the refrigerator were two days late,which pushed the repair through the weekend to a Tuesday . This kept me from having a refrigerator for over a week.

I called for my washing machine (agitator not working). They gave me a window for the next day, arrived at the beginning of the 2 hour window, immediately assessed the issue, and completed repairs within 15 minutes, using parts on their truck. They were polite and cordial.

The company's technician, Anthony, tested and replaced the icemaker and water valve in my 25 year old Amana refrigerator freezer. They were thorough in explaining the process and took great care to prevent water exposure to my wood floor. They did have some difficulty in finding the correct parts which is reasonable given the age of the appliance. But through their persistence I have delayed spending thousands of dollars to replace all my appliances (with stainless steel) at this time.

When first called, service was courteous, and response prompt. We have an older GE oven which refused to heat properly after last autoclean, and replacing it would have been hugely expensive due to cabinet opening size. We had already shelled out a ginormous amount for a 'cabinet depth' fridge and were staring down a holiday season without an oven. I checked on line and yes, replacement parts were still available for this oven and I came to Angie's List to find a repair person. We had an appraisal of the repair, and they would order the part and should have it in a day or two, we heard either that Thursday or the following Tuesday for sure, we'd see them back. After Thursday came and went, and Tuesday was approaching with no appt set up, we called to inquire the status of our part order and repair. The part had come in, so we set up a date. We were offered the next day, but due to our schedule, we had asked for the day after. But the repairman called the next day and was upset that no one was there to let him in. So we weren't happy about that confusion, we'd made it very clear to the office and the repair person what our schedule was. There seemed to be a difference in communication, between the repair person and the office. But everything worked out, and we did ask for our Angie's List 10% discount offered and we did get it. Oven's working just fine now, yay!

Excellent! The serviceman arrived timely and was clearly honest. He advised we needed a new washer, but did not try to sell us one. He checked the dryer, cleaned the vent, and gave it a clean bill of health for years to come. Thus, we only had to buy a washing machine, and it was clearly not in the serviceman's interest to advise us of that when he would earn money only by recommending a large repair for our washer. Reliable and honest service company!

A good experience overall. I recommend this company and will use them again when I have another appliance problem.

Easy to make appointment. Quick response time. Took both machines apart to clean and vacuum. Returned washer and dryer to like-new condition. Very pleased with this company and would definitely call on them in the future.

Service was never deemed for it was out of the area for service..

Everything turned out fine. They certainly worked very hard.
