9 1 1 Appliance Repair

I called and was given an appointment on the weekend (which was more convenient for me). The workers who came were very professional, quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. They also were very helpful in suggesting ways to avoid similar problems in the future. The price was very reasonable and they were quick to give me the Angie's List discount despite the fact that I had not mentioned Angie's List when I set up the appointment. I have recommended 9-1-1 Appliance Repair to several friends based on my experience with them.

Originally, I had a misunderstanding about the large appliance repair coupon I bought for my washer. Abraham told me that it would be less expensive to buy a new washer than to fix it, so he left without repairing anything, and I did not give him a good review. That was a mistake and unfair on my part, because he gave me the best professional advice, and he offered to extend the expiration date on my coupon to cover something else that might need a repair. I felt bad about my review later and called Abraham to apologize because of my mistake. I also revised my review. While he offered a refund for the coupon, when an issue came up with my refrigerator door, he came out and repaired it perfectly. Abraham is a decent, hardworking guy who knows his stuff. I'm glad we were able to work things out. I would ask him for his help if I needed it again.

Jessie and Anthony arrived within the time frame they initially stated. Both were friendly and personable. They quickly diagnosed the problem (circuit board and thermostat). They didn't have replacement parts so they had to order the circuit board. They were able to do a temporary fix to the refrigerator so it would stay cool for the 3-5 days while the part was ordered. They returned some days later and replaced the parts and now all is well. Parts are warranted for 1 year! Overall, a good experience with 911.

My fridge was emitting a noxious, acrid smell during Friday night. I called 911 Appliance first thing on Saturday morning after checking Angie's list and Jesee arrived in just over an hour. The smell was a burning plastic component which he replaced and was finished in less than an hour. He was cheerful and great with my dogs, an all over positive experience and I would definitely use them again.

I called. They came out and inspected my refrigerator. They said it was either the computer board at the back or the control panel inside. They came back with both units and in their experience it was most likely the computer board which it was. They were polite, nice, friendly, knowledgeable, on time. They said this was a typical repair for my unit at it's age.

9-1-1 got my business initially because they were able to schedule a visit before any of the other companies I called. I called on a Thursday and my technician came on a Saturday morning. Needless to say, the fridge was behaving entirely normally when he arrived, but he waited around to see if the strange noise began, which it did soon after. He diagnosed it as a worn-out fan in the freezer and told me a new part would be required. He didn't carry LG parts on his truck, but told me he could order it first thing on Monday. I was concerned that the whole unit was about to fail (i.e worn-out compressor) but he assured me the fridge could continue indefinitely in that state. He gave me a ball-park estimate of the price which was pretty accurate. 0n Monday he called to say he had ordered the part and that it would be in on Wednesday. 0n Wednesday he called to say he had the part, and he and a colleague came round that same afternoon to install it. I appreciated their attention to detail - they offered to empty and refill my freezer for me (not necessary), they showed me the old part and the new one side by side so that I could see the wear-and-tear for myself, and they were meticulous about clean-up. They told me I would need to disconnect the power to the unit in order for the panel to reset itself, which turned out not to be the case, as it did it spontaneously - but no harm done. This was a good experience, and I would certainly use them again.

The service was so easy the 911 appliance repair company was very professional and knowldgeable he knew exactly what the problem was diagnosed it and gave an estimate of the price of the memory board after he called in to order the part he said it would be about a week for it to come, it took two weeks but that was not a problem.. The whole service experience was great.

Our dryer died so I filled out the 9-1-1Appliance online appointment request before start of business that day. After waiting nearly two hours to hear back, I called and left a voicemail. I never got a response to either the online form or my voicemail. Not very professional. Fortunately I found another vendor who did a great job for us.

They showed me what to do next time it happened so I could do it. Not a bad experience.

The service technicians were very knowledgeable and professional. However, I found it almost impossible to reach the office of this company. They did not respond to emails or to phone messages, and I had to keep calling back until someone would answer the phone. That is why I would not use them again.

They arrived on time and examined the dishwasher. It was an easy fix and they took the time to show my husband how to make the repair in the event it happened again. We really appreciated their approach.

Called both listed numbers and got a busy signal. Unprofessional to have no forward or answering machine or service to answer on their behalf.

They handled the job with my oven in a matter of minutes. While I was super thankful that the oven didn't need to be replaced and they did not push for purchasing a new oven (even in light of the fact it is really old), I wasn't happy to hear that I had to pay an additional $115 for parts beyond the advertised $79 repair fee.

Exceptional service and quality work.

I called 9-1-1 Appliance Repair when our refrigerator lost power. It was an emergency situation, since my husband stores his insulin in the refrigerator. They came out the same evening. I could not have asked for a more efficient, thoughtful crew. These were two of the most polite technicians I have come across. The repair was inexpensive and excellently done. I give this company my highest rating.

Abraham was great in that he trouble shooted the repair and even returned on a Saturday to install the new part. I appreciated his honesty and the time he took to explain the repair to me. I will definitely phone him the next time my washer or any of my appliances stop working. Thanks, Abraham!!!

They were as advertised and I chose them because they were "A" rated. I was not disappointed with their service.

Original repairman who came our was inexperienced and unprofessional. Did not have a company vehicle or shirt, so it was not apparent who he was when he showed up. Just a tatooed college-age kid with a toolbox in hand. He did not communicate very clearly. He didn't know how to properly dissasemble the appliance, and ended up damaging it in the process. Didn't know what to do about it afterward. I contacted the company and spoke to the owner who was much more professional. He did the right thing and repaired the damage at his expense, even though it cost more than what I had paid for the repair. This was much appreciated. However, he led me to believe that in the future he might put some kind of disclaimer into the paperwork and would not accept responsibility for this kind of damage. To me that is unacceptable because this damage was easily avoidable if you know what you were doing. I'm also having trouble with one of the repairs after less than 1 year, so I don't know if the parts they used were good quality.

Jeff was very professional and explained what the problem was. If for some reason, it would stop drying the clothes again, he said they would come out and inspect the dryer again at no charge. He did not have to come again. The dryer is still functioning properly thanks to Jeff. We have used this company for a dishwasher repair too and that man was very good too. All their work is guaranteed and they make sure you are happy with their service.

))First of all took three phone calls to get an appointment for service,I would call and ask for an appointment, wait two to three days and no one would call me back. If I hadn't paid for the service in advance I would have stopped right then. Don't know who I spoke with, but sounded like call was answered in the middle of a day care center, not a business. On third phone call that I made when I said then it had been very difficult to book an appointment for a service I had already paid for the girl/women replied"Oh yeah, we got a lot of calls." That certainly made me feel confident(NOT) The two guys showed up about an hour late, neither spoke English very well, so communication was not easy. I asked how long it was going to take and was told several hours. They were not comfortable with my asking questions or my watching them. Frankly the fact that they didn't communicate with me about what they were doing was not ok with me. I regret that I bought the service and won't be doing that again. I am very very dissapointed with Angie's List for recommending this company, I had hoped for much better vetting from Angie's List than this company would indicate. Shame on You for pushing a service, where you obviously get a kick-back on my bad experience.

My ice maker became very tempermental and then quit working. 911 Appliance was very responsive. The technician diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in a couple of days. The only reason for the slight delay was waiting for the part to come in. The technician called me as soon as it came in and fixed my ice maker. I was impressed by the speed by which it was done.

The company was completely unresponsive. I tried contacting them multiple times since July with no response so I decided to have the deal refunded.

Getting the appointment was very easy. The only negative was they forgot to call 1/2 hour before arriving as they had promised. Luckily someone was home. The diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it. They even waited around to make sure the freezer temperature began to go back down after they performed the service.
