 + -1 moreWorst company to deal with. I called Metzger Plumbing for 2nd opinion with a slab leak. They sent out Tony Davis who detected the leak. He talked us into using their company which was not covered by our homebuyer warranty insurance. He offered to call the insurance Company and help us with reimbursement and so we chose to use him. When performing the job he decided to slip the line (using a plastic clear pipe) instead of repiping the cold water line. When he was done an hour later he charged us the original rerouted price (amount to run a brand new copper line) Then once he left and was paid he refused to contact the insurance company as promised. After a week of being ghosted by him we reached out to Mona at Bill Metzger plumbing who then had him call the insurance company on our behalf. Once we received the approval to use their company and turn in all the paperwork to be reimbursed by our insurance company he then refused to provide us with the paperwork. Total Bait and switch. Our insurance company offered to pay for repairs as a cash out option to use whoever we wanted. We just chose the wrong company. Very upset and disappointed

 + -1 moreIncompetent , dishonest, rude! I had to have the technician come out to the house 4 times pointing out how to do his job! I tried to talk directly to Bill the owner and he was rude and dismissed me. It cost me $999.00 to end up with a completely non working sprinkler system and the leak is still present under ground. I requested pictures of the work that was done and never received them. I will be taking action but in the meantime wanted to warn others not to use this company.
Description of Work: Leak detection and repair of small leak. Repair of large leak was never performed. Sprinkler system was left in non working order.

 + -1 moreWork on the kitchen faucet was done shoddily, with the faucet soon working "loose" and needing a re-installation. The man who appeared (the owner we think, though he did not announce himself as such) also looked at a leaky bathtub valve. He announced to my wife that it was the result of excessive water pressure and that it would require the replacement of the pressure regulator (just replaced a year before). Then he tried to sell her a new water heater (there was no issue with the water heater). At this point, my wife consulted me (I was working at home, but the contractor apparently thought my wife was home alone). I recognized the attempted upsell to my wife (who knows nothing about plumbing) and declined the additional services being pushed. I then went to the hardware store, found a new washer for the leaking tub valve for $5.00 and fixed it myself by turning off the water, screwing out the old one and screwing in the new one. He clearly did not want to mess with such a little job, and tried to take advantage of my wife and upsell us to a water heater. We will not use this company again.
Description of Work: My wife purchased a new kitchen faucet and had it installed by this company. It was a simple job, and she had a minor drip she wanted to have fixed.
