I would never hire them because they are totally unprofessional in their total lack of reply to emails, not answering their phone or returning voice messages.
Response from Redlands Moving and Storage

"My name is Randy. I am so sorry. I don't know what could have possible gone wrong. We answer are phones 7 days a week 15 hours a day. I am sorry about not getting back to you sooner but I think there must be internal issues with Anigie's List as this is the first time this has shown up. I never received your e mail. Please call me directly. My cell is (909) 649-1147. I again am so sorry, please call me so I figure out what went wrong. We are family owned and I have lived on the mountain for over 20 years and we pride ourselves on excellent service. Looking forward to hearing for you. Please call. Randy"

Michael and Ronald were punctual, polite, thorough, and careful. They safely moved a grandfather clock, 54" TV, several boxes of Waterford crystal, some China dishes, and one very large piece of pottery....all intact!
the only item that broke was a LR torch style lamp, apparently the cement bases come apart/break easily. So move those with care!
They did run out of room on the truck for several smaller items, which wasn't a big problem for us since we moved fairly local.  Just took a couple carloads to get it.  So, my advice is to discuss the amount of your stuff so they can estimate the correct size truck if you're moving any distance.
We do recommend Redlands Moving and Storage, and would use them again in the future.

"It was nice to meet you [Member Name Removed]! We really appreciate you sharing your experience with us. We do have several locations that are ran by different men, but all are expected to deliver the same standard of service. Van lines have no customer service, and the fake little guys in U haul trucks have no clue what it means to be a professional. We are grateful that we have customers like you who understand you get what you pay for in this industry and using college flunks using someone else's trucks will end up damaging your stuff so it ends up at the dump. LOL yeah we looked at their sight with a bunch of corny rhyming, thank you for pointing them out, those Geek Movers are the uhaul type we are talking about. We wish you the best."

We originally chose this mover due to its high reviews on Yelp/Angie's List and competitive guaranteed price. This low review is due to a delay of more than ten days past the initial target delivery date, spotty communication, and no willingness on the part of the company to give a discount due to the delay. Our initial experience was very positive with Peter coming out the next day and doing a comprehensive evaluation and quote. We liked the price compared to some of the big moving companies as well as the promise of end to end customer service. I called back two days after the original quote, and it took five calls over three days to reach someone who would actually put us on the books to move. This was one and a half months prior to the move. At this point, our one requirement was that our belongings be in Seattle on a specific day due to our jobs starting after that. The pick up day was chosen based on our desired delivery day, which were July 6th and 10th respectively. We were frustrated by the phone tag, but still excited about the price and service. Over the next few weeks we received calls from our move coordinator saying one minute that we wouldn't be able to do a given day, then saying we would a few hours later. The day before the move, we got a call saying we would have to delay pickup because a driver was unavailable (due to recent injury). We explained that this was unacceptable because the buyers of our house were moving in the next day. To their credit, someone came in out of retirement to drive the truck to our house for the pickup, which we appreciate. During the same phone call the day prior to the move, we were told by the moving coordinator that they probably couldn't meet the delivery date due to a truck breakdown. At this time they said that the stuff would likely arrive on the 12th instead of the 10th. Ok, fine, but that was the whole point of our scheduling the pickup when we did. On the day of loading, we signed the final contract with a day of loading, but no day of delivery (which we stupidly didn't notice, because we just checked the lock-in price and delivery address and signed). The loading went well, everyone was nice. They didn't protect our entryway for the first half of the move (when we noticed), and slightly damaged the step to the front door. They told us that the truck would be leaving for Seattle on July 7th. On July 9th, we received a call saying our stuff would be indefinitely delayed, probably another week. I asked what they were going to do to make it right, and was told a sob story about how they were low on drivers and their trucks needed repair. Let me be clear. I don't care about the logistics of your business. I want my things to be there on the agreed upon day, and in good shape. We still do not have our things a week later. We have spent several hundred dollars on necessities we didn't think we would end up needing if we had our things even remotely on time. Additionally we had to purchase two air beds/sheets/pillows/other necessities for ourselves and our parents who flew in to help us move, and had non-refundable flights. I would love to leave a better review. I know this company is trying to do their best despite multiple set-backs. However they should not expect me to care about their logistic issues if they don't care about my financial ones. Bottom line, summer is a busy time and I understand that, however if the delivery date were a potential issue then they should have planned for a buffer instead of leaving no wiggle room in the schedule. They also were not forthcoming with any updates, each time I was updated on the delay it was after me calling them and waiting hours to a day for a response. I would be happy to make this an "A" review if we were appropriately compensated for the costs incurred due to the delay as well as having a smooth delivery of our belongings in good condition.

Redlands Moving  is the best! From my initial phone conversation with Tom to the move with Greg and John they were exceptionally professional.  The gentlemen arrived exactly on time, covered the door frames and grass, moved  swiftly and carefully. Every item was handled as if they were all marked "fragile". We have  a large dresser that is rather heavy, Greg and John  wrapped and carried that monster dresser with ease. We truly appreciate and value this business and highly recommend Redlands Moving and Storage. If you have something to move, big or small this is the company to call.

We where very behind on are moving out of our house. They came out and gave us  an estimate very quickly. When we gave them the OK they showed up on time and packed and moved everything to the new location or storage. They did a very good job even with the very heavy things, and the fragile stuff.

The guys were nice and worked really hard all day to load and unload the truck.  It was hot and they had to move stuff up and down stairs - not easy but they hustled.  We were disappointed in the way they handled our stuff, though.  They bounced their loaded hand trucks pretty roughly down the stairs each time.  Much of our furniture was dinged or scratched in the process of the move.  It doesn't seem like they used padding since there was paint transfer between furniture pieces where they rubbed against each other.  Our file cabinet and some breakables in boxes were the only things that were completely destroyed.

There was an issue with the size of the truck, but we called the home office and they took care of it and got us moved in one day.

Overall a successful move - everything got from Point A to Point B.  I would use them again but I would be more careful how I packed things and make sure all the furniture was wrapped before being loaded in the truck.

"[Member Name Removed], I would like to thank you for taking the time for you to review our company. After my conversation with [Member Name Removed] on January 4, 2016, we would like our future customers to know our side. Your move took place on July 27, 2015 with Jason & Steven. The two young men that showed up that day were young but had seven years of moving experience. After talking with them it seems like they were solely focused on getting the job done as quickly as possible to save you the customer money. Jason was going down the stairs pretty quickly and it might of appeared without care but he did not drop a single box or item. He wrapped every single piece of furniture with furniture pads on the truck as is customary in the moving industry. His only thought was that some people don't pack there belongings very well when going such a short distance and unfortunately movers can only insure the boxes we pack .[Member Name Removed], I am truly sorry that the move did not turn out as you had hoped. We are trying to understand why you called us on August 8, 2015 to mention an issue and why you did not follow through with the claim form sent on that date. We never heard back from [Member Name Removed] concerning any issue after contact on August 8, 2015, until this review more than 6 months later. I wish Mr. or Mrs. [Member Name Removed] would have called us during the move if there was any issue so we could address it at the time. The other perplexing thing is that you tipped the men $100.00 for there hard work. As we never received the claim form back as I mentioned to you during our conversation we feel it at least necessary to refund you the $100.00 tip you gave the men as you were not satisfied. In light of Jason and Steven not taking better care of your belongings we will no longer use them, effective immediately."

I hired Redlands Movers 2 weeks in advance from the date of our move. The customer service was very nice and very easy to book with. I was told that the movers would be at my home to load up between 9-9:30 am. They were actually there a few minutes before 9. Supper professional and got to work quick. We had 4 movers Greg, John Q, Anthony, and Phill Jr. They were all very nice and professional in every way. I would highly recommend this team to any one who is looking for a moving company. I hope I never have to move again but if we do I will be hiring them again. Thanks Reflands Movers for moving my family in to our new home.

This company is Awesome!  Everyone was courteous and professional. Greg and his co-worker were very gentle with my belongings and extremely helpful with pack up, delivery and set up furniture as needed. I will definitely use them and recommend to my friends. Redlands Moving and Storage is reasonably priced and just all around Top Notch!! I had lots of boxes and little things, but some very delicate furniture, mirrors, etc.  Everything came over in perfect condition. They get right to it and waste no time!

I found them on Angie's list and have them a call. Tom picked up and was great on the phone so friendly and courteous. Took a little time to get back to me but in his defence he was dealing with a big request of a 5 bedroom next day move. He gave me the good news that they had a crew of 4 guys and 2 trucks available. Good price and they came with everything needed. Tom also provided some wardrobe boxes for our last minute stuff and linen at no charge. The crew showed up a little before the scheduled time and was ready to start. Crew was very friendly and professional and was super hard working and it was around 100? that day in SoCAL. They worked 8.5 hrs and didn't so down. So glad I called them and would definitely call or recommend again. Thanks guys

This company is outstanding. So reasonably priced yet over-the-top professional & careful. Such a long day for the movers yet they never slowed down or lost patience with our rearranging of furniture near the end. They were upbeat--even fun--til the last chair was in place. Can't say enough (did i mention we moved a piano, appliances, lots of big pieces, etc.?!) Also you will LOVE Tom, who answers the phones. Great sense of humor. He'll make your day. I seriously consider just calling him from time to time to say hi and I hate talking on the phone.

They were very fast and efficient! Two friendly guys moved everything from one address to another. I thought they would take their time since they were paid by the hour but they did not waste any time. They got us moved, took care of our valuable furniture and appliances and placed them where we wanted them.  They would have done much more, like packing and putting together the beds but we already had that covered. We would use them again again and we would recommend them to our friends.
