When we entered the store, a woman was helping people at the counter, but quickly let us know that she'd be with us in a moment. Then she asked what the problems were, gave us a quote for the service/repair ($49.00), and added that they would call us to get permission to proceed if there were parts that would cost extra. She then asked her husband to look at it and he came from the back (repair) room to visit with us. When he saw the vacuum, he told us that it was over 15 years old - which was actually surprising! He told us that since the machine was an older model and that repair costs would add up, we might want to look at some newer models. We agreed, and he led us to models of various prices then watched me walk back and forth from mine to each model, comparing grips, movement, etc. He was not pushy at all, just informative and helpful. When we decided to hang on to our old one for a bit longer, he told us to expect the repair to be finished in a few days and that they would call us. 3 days later we got the call, picked up the vacuum, and were charged the quoted estimate - $49.00. We really enjoyed their professionalism, honesty, and the quick repair and cost. We will not only return to them for repairs in the future, but to purchase our next Oreck.

Needed to replace my vacuum and went just to see the Oreck, the guy was so great that I bought it from him even though I could have gotten it from the online site. I am going back for a canister model for my upstairs because of his great service.

They fixed it.
