They matched the new cabinets with the existing cabinets that I had in another room very nicely. They did an excellent job. There was a problem with the door installation where one door came and it was the wrong size. I ultimately got a new door but it took a long time. That one final door was a couple of months late, but when it got here, they installed it and it was fine. The work was of high quality. I thought that the price was reasonable. They cleaned up very nicely, they were kind and were responsible in what they did.

They did a superb job. I looked around and their price seemed reasonable for all they did. They were really great and helped me design cabinets that were more spacious inside.

They are very professional. They showed up on time for their appointments. They are willing to spend time with their clients to understand the process. It has been a very positive experience. Their knowledge and customer service have been very good.

The rep came out when expected and provided an initial estimate. We were delayed in the project for a couple of months and decided to change the project a bit. We had a slightly difficult time getting the rep back out. I think because of the delay and changes he may have thought we were not serious. that is why I gave them a B on responsiveness. Once he came back out, he was extremely helpful in picking style and wood. The workmen showed up when they said they would and finished when they said they would. They were always professional and polite. The materials were all top quality solid wood doors, drawer fronts and boxes, extremely well made. The price for what was done was a little high, but the result was so fantastic my wife just kept saying "wow, its beautiful" over and over. We will definitely be going back to have them estimate our kitchen later this year.

I had a great experience working with them. They came out on time and they were excellent. They cleaned up really well. I had a little problem, but they came back out immediately and fixed it. I liked their customer service. They were very responsive to my questions. I spent about $12000 on the job, including the new appliances, a new convection oven; etc. I didn’t have any problems with this company. I will use them again for bathroom remodeling.

Overall the experience was good. I met with the designed at my home and again at the showroom. I spent about three hours overall. My only complaint was that the estimate was expensive, and it was difficult to get pricing details as opposed to broad cost categories.

It started out like a dream and turned into a nightmare. Kitchen Mart has an amazing showroom in Rocklin. Our designer sold us on the Kitchen Mart ideal...that everything is done in-house - nothing is sub-contracted - one project manager to act as the point of contact. This would mean better pricing and better communication. Sounded great to us! The job started with tear out on August 3 and ended with the final inspection on August 31. We started having moments of concern as soon as we were turned over from the designer to the project manager. My husband had to call Kitchen Mart to ask when the project manager (PM) was coming out a couple of weeks before our start date (warning bells). The PM came out, seemed ok, everything seemed ready to go. We e-mailed him a couple of times to clarify things before the start date. We started being really concerned when the installer didn't know things that we'd discussed with the designer and project manager (more warning bells). It all came to a head when they installed the wrong fan/light/heater. My husband called the PM to discuss this and some other issues and was told "If I had to micro-manage every project like this, I'd never get anything done." The PM had been to our house once, and answered a few e-mails. Wow! My husband talked to the owner of the company, who agreed that we hadn't received the service we were paying for. He assigned a new PM, but things didn't get much better. We continued to have problems and mis-communications between the Kitchen Mart crew. I won't bore you with the details, but it was an incredibly frustrating experience. The final straw was the final day of the job. The job was done, our bill was paid, and all that was left was the final inspection. The county inspector came out and met a Kitchen Mart employee at our house. When we came home, there were cheap, battery-operated, stick-on smoke alarms stuck on the wall above every bedroom door in our house. When I called our new PM the next morning to ask why, he informed me that "the government requires it." He told me that someone should have told us about it (Duh!) and that he had told his employees in the past that they can't go into other parts of the house without the home owner's permission (Hmmmm). He wasn't able to tell me which government or what code required the smoke alarms. Kitchen Mart did complete our bathroom remodel, but the poor management and lack of professionalism makes me wish that we'd never contracted with them. I will never use them again, and I can't in good conscience recommend them to anyone.

They actually came in the middle of the project because the first company that started here has really crappy customer service and they made some mistakes, and we never used them again. So Kitchen Mart came in and resurrected the project and it turned out beautiful. I recommend them highly to anyone, that's my family and whoever.

Kitchen Mart estimated my work at less than half of what Home Depot wanted. KM was easy to work with; came up with solutions for problem areas (e.g., dishwasher door scraped against a cabinet drawer; KM realigned drawer and expanded the cabinet beneath it, allowing pull out shelves to be installed and solving scraping problem). The staff was amiable and wanting to please me, even when I made a change order on the first day of work. Job was finished in three days and for the price agreed upon, as promised. Kitchen and adjacent rooms were left clean. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Steve came over right on time, and gave me ideas and took measurements. Within a couple days after, he emailed a detailed estimate with breakdown of all requested products and labor. He was quite knowledgeable and had interesting ideas for improvement. I also visited the showroom for samples of colors and more ideas. I have not yet had the work done, but would definitely hire them to do the work when I am ready.

We are very happy with it. Everything went very smoothly and they were able to do it quickly. They seemed to be professional, showed up on time and had input about our plans. We paid about $5500 on that work and their price was competitive with the other bids we got.

I was in the middle of a two-bath remodel and had checked with several other companies for the tile, etc... I happened to visit a friend's home where KM had done a kitchen remodel. It was beautiful! I went out to their showroom to look and ended up having them do the countertop, which was pretty much the last part.

The estimate was pretty high. The estimator was an hour late for the appointment she set. The lady did call about 5 minutes before the appointment to tell us where she was which was much farther than 5 minutes from our home. Everything else was fine, except the price. They were a little bit higher than what we had gotten from other folks. Also, they wouldn't break down the estimate at all, they just gave us a flat price and that was it. They couldn't tell us a certain amount was for demolition, etc. They said that's how they do it. They were very professional except for the tardiness.

They did a very good job, in fact I'm having them back to do some molding and a coating to match the kitchen cabinets. They were pretty fast and everyone here was very confident and skillful carpenters. They were punctual and cleaned up well. I had no complaints about it at all. I took the recommendation off of Angie's List and they are the only bid I got. I thought the price was fair and I'm happy with the job they did. I will be hiring them back for additional work.

They were fast and they did the job in 9 days. They were organized and came to work in my home from 8 am and left promptly at 4pm. They did really good work and they seemed to care about the work they did. I felt comfortable with them in the house at that time.

I was very impressed with the sales section. The counter top was higher by an inch and I had to settle for it, as it did not look awkward. The project manager did not show up at the house to supervise. The crew was not so clean but they were punctual.

They were okay. They were very expensive. They didn’t understand what I needed. I had to call them back to get the estimate. They told me that they had my email address wrong, but told them that they had my phone number. It was a lame excuse. I will not use them in the future because they are a little high end.

The woman who came out did an initial design and was going to do another one. However, we decided not to use their services in the meantime. So, the job of giving us an estimate was not complete. They were very punctual and the woman who came out was very accommodating. The only negative thing about them was when I asked for a copy of the design that she had done to have a look at it and to take it home. So, she said that they don’t do that and I felt that she had an attitude.

We hired Kitchen Mart to remodel our master bathroom down to the studs. By all appearances, the company did a very nice job; the results look great. We were especially pleased with the work of Randy Richey, who basically took care of each stage of the project except for the tile work. A true and ldquo;Renaissance Man,and rdquo; he handled the final phase of the demolition work and all of the sheetrock, electrical, plumbing, shower pan, and cabinet refacing work. He was a joy to work with from start to finish. Such is the and ldquo;good news.and rdquo; We would have given Kitchen Mart a higher overall rating except for our disappointment with David Starrett, who was dubbed our and ldquo;project manager.and rdquo; When he visited our home initially, he was carrying the multi-page spec descriptions, but it didn't seem as if he had bothered to gain any familiarity with the job before his arrival. We spent a great deal of time doing nothing more than answering questions that were already addressed in full in the specs. Later on, David agreed to coordinate our acquisition of faucets and other fixtures from a local plumbing supply store; he even assured us two weeks afterwards that he was and ldquo;up to speedand rdquo; on getting the fixtures in our hands. Unfortunately, he had never followed up with the plumbing supply sales staff after his initial contact with the store, and when we called the store ourselves we discovered that the fixtures had never been ordered at all. David's initial reaction to our expression of displeasure was to deny any responsibility for the mishap. We should also cite David's apparent failure to visit the work site even once during the month-long construction and ndash; a strangely detached interpretation of his role as a and ldquo;project manager.and rdquo; And when we attempted to reach David near the end of the job to discuss an apparent problem, we never heard back from him. Overall, the level of communication we enjoyed with Kitchen Mart was less than what we felt a $25,000 remodeling job ought to have warranted. Other negative points: (1) Steve King, a very skilled salesman, significantly understated the amount of time the job would require and overstated the amount of supervisory oversight the work would have; (2) the gentlemen who took part in the first day of the demolition work needed to borrow our wheelbarrow and floor fan, leaving us to wonder why they hadn't been equipped with such basic implements by Kitchen Mart; (3) the tile installers left the premises after pronouncing their phase of the work and ldquo;all finishedand rdquo; but had failed to apply a corner piece at the end of a row of quarter-rounds; (4) the same tile crew left a huge pile of rubbish at the side of our house instead of hauling it away.

It went very well. The quality of workmanship was great as well as the communication with the project manager,David Starrett.. First, we met with Steve King for consultation and estimate then with David Starrett, the project manager, to fine tune the job. The tear-out went well with minimal disruption, dust down to a minimum. Next came the construction which turned out beautiful. During the construction we had some design changes. The quality of the workmanship is awesome and the staff at Kitchen Mart is great-everyone was professional and were talented in what they do.
