Just moved out of our 5 bed, 5 bath, 4600 sq ft house. We had used two men and a truck twice in the last 7-8 years and really liked their service. One of my friends told us about CMS and I wanted to check them out. They sounded reasonable and were less expensive at $135/hr for a three person crew compared to two men and a truck at $163/hour (quoted over the phone). Being a repeat and previously satisfied customer, I tried to negotiate with two men but they were not willing. Decided to go with CMS and they did a great job. Robert the coordinator visited our house expeditiously to provide on site not to exceed estimate. The other Robert and his crew arrived on time, handled stuff carefully and spent less time than the original estimate, despite us adding more things to haul. EXCELLENT JOB.

Calif. Moving Systems was professional from start to finish.  A representative came to the house and did a thourough walkthrough, creating a very detailed list of items to be moved.  They followed up by phone a couple of times to see if we needed anything in preparation of moving.  They provided bundles of labels for boxes that we packed ourselves.  We boxed nearly all loose items ourselves, as we purged the things we did not want to take. 
The day of the move was a complete joy.  Four workers arrived bright and early and worked all day, with an hour lunch break.  We provided lunch.  They were professional in their treatment of our things, making sure that everything was wrapped and bundled sufficently to avoid any damage.  They took time to ask when they were not sure about some items.  What really impressed me was that at the end of a long day of heavy packing and moving, they took time to go through each room in the house and the garage with us, to make sure they had everything we wanted to take.  They even carried out a bunch of boards and lumber that I wanted to take.  They were done around 5:00 pm.  
The arrival at our destination was just as pleasant.  They arrived when they said they would.  They spent all day unloading our things and making sure that everything they put in the house was placed where we wanted it.  They re-assenbled the beds and bookshelves that they had unassembled at the other end.  They even took time to arrange shelves, tables, boxes, etc. in my garage to my liking.  Did I mention that I am in a wheelchair?  They were very accomodating and considerate.
I would use them again.

They were good. They said what they were going to do and they did what they said. They weren’t more or they weren’t less. They were very competitive compared to the others. They were very good compared to some of the others. The moving went pretty well. Their responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism were all very good. I would use them again.

The representative that gave us our estimate was on time, friendly and took the time to explain the whole process to us. He did not pressure us and turned around a full quote within a day. On the day of packing, the movers apologized for being late in spite of being within the promised arrival window simply because they prefer to start earlier. They did a good job of packing everything carefully. The move itself occurred the next day. The job was done fast, yet carefully, allowing us to pay for only the minimum move time in spite of the higher estimate. This allowed us to start getting settled in to our home that much sooner. Everyone at the company was friendly, helpful and professional throughout the process.

This was the best move I have experienced from beginning to end.  Judy, the estimator, gave me some great tips (e.g. move and set up your kitchen ahead of time), Melissa patiently rescheduled my move twice when the remodel at the other end stalled, Damien and Jesse hustled all my stuff, including large potted plants, in and out of the truck in less time than I expected and without a scratch.  Everyone I dealt with was consistently patient, helpful, and customer-oriented.  I dread moving, but this company took a lot of the stress out of it.  (One tip of my own - do leave sheets on mattresses, even though movers ask you to remove them, or ask movers to wrap mattresses.  Some marks are inevitable in handling and in the truck and it's easier to wash sheets than mattresses.)  Highly recommended.

Excellent.  Their high Angie's list rating is well deserved!  The estimator and coordinator is extremely professional and pleasant to work with, taking the time to answer all of my questions.  He accommodated my tight schedule and got me packed up in plenty of  time to get my home vacated by close of escrow.  The packing crew was very pleasant to work with  and worked very hard to get my home packed up and loaded for storage within six hours.  I would recommend them to  anyone needing such services.

Price marked as "good" simply because it is regulated with little room for negotiation.

From the first time I talked to and met with Dave Higdon, I knew we were in great hands. He was able to prepare us for this huge move from California to Colorado and from then on we were ready to go! Jesse and I got along great and from the moment he arrived to the moment he left after delivery, he was great! I am thankful that CMS moved us and would recommend them to anyone.

Bruce, the agent, came out to get and estimate and explained the services and timelines. He was true to his word that all would be handled with great care. He was accessible at all times by cell phone. This was my 24th move since age 18yrs. I have made several cross country moves . This was the first time that all went as promised; professional, no damage or hidden costs. They came in $2000 under others that I got quotes from. I'd recommend them to anyone for a short or long move.

It was generally very good. There were a couple of issues, but went very well.

They were great. I rate them high overall. They were fabulous. I have used many moving companies in the past, and they have been the best. From the person who came first to the people who help move were all good.

The guys arrived when expected. They cleanly and expedicously, and neatly packed everything. They loaded the goods onto the truck, and checked in with me during their ride to confirm the anticipated delivery time. In fact, they called to ask if they could deliver early! The guys were very pleasant and professional. Nothing was broken. My mother and I were relaxed and pleased with their pleasant manner. Would I use them again? You bet! This was one of the best moving experiences I have ever had, from the estimator, through the pick up and delivery.

Have used multiple times and they have always been provided excellent service. This time was no exception. Couldn't be more satisfied with the experience.

They provided excellent customer service. They delivered the boxes yesterday. This morning they arrived ahead of schedule. Yesterday they gave us the name of the driver, the helper and their phone numbers. The scheduling manager called and they provided fantastic service. They were in and out within two hours. They were very efficient and I will use them again.

THEY WERE A VERY GOOD COMPANY. I HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THIS COMPANY FOR OVER 30 YEARS, AND I'VE LIVED AROUND HERE FOR 40. THERE IS NO ONE ELSE I WOULD HIRE FOR THIS JOB. THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
