I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they did a great job. They came within two days after purchasing the Big Deal. They evaluated my windows and were very efficient. I did not have to pay any additional charges and they were very nice. I was very pleased with the price. I have a good feeling a year later about it. I thought they were very fair about the way they evaluated my windows. They were really busy, but they came out within two days.

The cleaning was fine but the going back and forth with the people was not good for me. I would never use them again because of the adminstration but the people that did the work did a good job. It went a little over the basis of the coupon. They showed up when they said they would and cleaned all the windows in a timely manner. I had to call two times and go through a couple of hoops.

Gutter Cleaning
It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was okay. I wasn't impressed with it. I asked him to clean the gutters and they were still clogged up. He spent maybe half an hour but I don't think he really checked to see if they were still clogged or not, so I wasn't too happy. The price was okay. The quality of the work was not good. I had to go up and clean the gutters myself.

I had a large window which was hard to clean to clean without a ladder. They tried to clean the inside, and they soaked up one pane and left it. Never put a squeegee to it. I would not hire them again under any circumstances. I have some very high windows and they cleaned those from the inside, and some of them had to be cleaned from the outside and you need a very high ladder. I asked them if they cleaned it, as I hadn't watched, I don't think they cleaned it because I didn't see them going up the roof to clean it. I had purchased a big deal and I phoned them and asked them what they meant by a window, whether it meant slider or the whole window and they told me it was the whole window, both sides. If you have a pane and a slider, that is not 4 panes and when the people got here, they wanted to do only half as many windows as they told me they would do. I told them that I phoned the main company and that was not the deal and they said they would do it, so I had to push the point which I didn't need to. They did a decent job on the windows that they did.They were here on time.

They were very pleasant. They got the work done quickly. I felt that there were some windows that could have been cleaned better. They were here on time. They did their job right but I think I would try someone else.

I watched the guys, it was a man and his son, the windows hadn’t been cleaned in a long time and they were pretty grimy and so they got up there and did it. They looked really good, so I tipped them, they left and when the actual sun started shining on them, there were lot of hays on it, so I had to go back over with a squeegee and do it myself, so I wasn’t real happy. I would take a chance on somebody else before I have them back again. It would have been a great price, if they had done it right. If I had pointed it out, they probably would have gone back over it but I did not. I have south facing windows so the sun is always on it and they are huge and the whole one side was not clean, and I thought I had to get out and do it myself. They did get the dirt off but I expected a full job, not an eight-five percent solution.

We purchased the big deal coupon for this service. He was excellent. One of the things that we liked was that, he was very mindful of our tile because we have a tiled roof. So he was very careful about that. Everything was very clean. If we think about it, cleaning up a gutter is just really dirty work but he was very clean and very friendly. He was early to work. We will most definitely use him again in the future.

I was not very pleased with them. Two of the downspouts were supposed to be unclogged or cleaned out. We had them in the summer time before it started to rain. As soon as it started to rain this past fall, they were clogged up again. They didn’t do their job all the way through. They showed up on time, and it seemed that they were very professional. It's just that I didn’t know what didn’t work until the fall when it started raining; that's how I knew that it wasn’t cleaned out. The people who came out were professional and amicable. They were on time. The pricing was okay. I had to pay extra because I had more windows than they had in their contract. The quality wasn’t very good because it didn’t work. When they did the windows, they didn’t really put one of the screens back properly. I thought that when they were here, they did what I wanted them to do. I found out later that it wasn’t done. I did not call them up to complain. When we hire someone to do something and they don’t do it properly, we are not calling them back to have them do it not properly again. It was in the middle of the winter and it was raining. I thought that if they didn’t do it right the first time, then that's it for me. They were punctual.

"Because we did the cleaning in the spring and you noticed the clog in the fall (when all the leaves come off the trees) we don't believe we are responsible. You should have your gutters cleaned twice a year (spring and fall). If you can't afford them to be cleaned twice a year then it is preferable to have them cleaned in the fall right after the leaves have fallen. That way you will avoid gutters that overflow because they have leaves in them. - Desiree"

The man who did it brought his son because he was training him. The father who owned the company was very thorough and did a good job. He worked very hard. The son you could tell really didn't want to be there, he wasn't too careful with the plants below where he was cleaning. Other than that they did a good job. I would recommend them.

The first appointment was set and they cancelled at the last minute. We went back and forth with rescheduling the appointment to fit both of our busy schedules. They were supposed to be at my home today and I’ve been left waiting. I had to call them and they said “oops, we’ll try to find out why nobody came.” They did say that the crew called and reported an issue but it didn’t get to the scheduling office to properly notify me. They said they might be able to get out to my home tomorrow but I’ve lost 2 days and I didn’t want to take a chance on a third day

It was not a good deal. At first I thought it was, but since I've had painters here and we pulled off the screens, we could see down at the bottom and stuff because I had sun screens on. At first I could not tell because we had sun screens on but then when the painters pulled of the screens I could see all the stuff that they didn't do. I'd paid them extra too because it was $99 for washing many windows, so I gave them an extra $10 or $5 per window. Afterwards, I just didn't think they did a really good job because, once we pulled up the screens, my windows didn't look like they'd been cleaned before. Now I have to hire somebody to come and clean my windows again. So, to me, it was like I wasted my money. I thought it was a good deal, so if the service had equaled the price, it would have been an 'A' all the way around. They were very responsive, they came right away, were on time and they seemed pretty nice. I just don't think they were prepared to do a two-story home and to clean the upstairs windows properly. They had a ladder, but they didn't do all the stuff they needed to do. The people who showed up were very professional in their presentation.

After a number of delays and postponements, a guy showed up on Saturday right at the re-re-re-rescheduled time. As it turns out, he was a contractor, so my comments aren't necessarily going to be helpful in evaluating America's Best. As far as I can tell, he did a good job. (It's not like I could get up to the roof to inspect the gutters...) I should mention, though, that the job cost $312 on top of the $89 coupon, since I had (considerably) more than 100 linear feet of gutter. If you use a service like this, you might want to measure your gutters first to avoid sticker shock.
