Description of Work: Everything went well. ACE Plumbing was able to do what I couldn't. Fix a scored copper pipe in my upstairs shower. Sometimes you need to call a pro, and I would call them again when my limited plumbing abilities are not enough.

Description of Work: Went fine. Ordered the deal, called the company, and then they informed me that they couldn't perform the service but would provide the name of a company that can.

Description of Work: Repairs to furnace and replaced thermostat. Furnace is probably original,i.e. from the 1920's. Wonderful to find someone who could competently deal with it.

Description of Work: I paid for the Angie's Deal for $75. This included a visit to diagnose problem and a $95 credit if work was contracted. Tony was very nice and quoted $416 to jet clean drain pipes blocked under kitchen sink. After discount it would be an additional $311 above the $75 Angie Deal. Tony said I could shop the price if I liked. I did and found the first two companies quoting me $195-225 to jet clean the pipes. I went with Iverson Plumbing who crawled under the house to inspect for leaks before snaking and jet cleaning pipes. Iverson charged $220 total for everything.

Description of Work: The representative who responded was prompt, pleasant and proficient. I explained the problem and after he explained how the pricing worked, he went right to work snaking a branch line from the garage to the kitchen and ultimately clearing some blockage in the line. I had a couple other concerns that he checked for me; one he explained that the front tub was okay and why he didn't see a problem, and the other was a minor fix. Before he left to write up the invoice, I asked him about possibly replacing the faucet in the garage or somehow replace some fittings so I could use this shower handle attachment to wash my dog in the garage sink. He said that he would have to check into faucet attachments for pricing and he would let me know. He also said I could do the same thing but that was the last I heard from him.

Description of Work: Plumber was primarily interested in selling me a new product; after his third pitch on the value of his installing a new fixture, I told him in no uncertain terms that I wanted him to fix the problem on the existing fixture. I had to call another plumber a week later to fix the leak, no problem since.
