My wife and I were very pleased with the results. We felt that the job was done very quickly and done very professionally. All the personnel who did the work were knowledgeable and personable.The front yard now looks immeasurably better than before, and we're looking forward to seeing the landscape plants mature.

The work went great. All personnel knew their jobs and did them well. Any potential problems were considered and solved. Would highly recommend them.

Designing the yard layout took most of July, with three to four sessions to determine the final layout. deConstruction of the existing yard started the 1st Monday in August and the project was completed on the 3rd Thursday of the month. It was amazing to watch Arnold use his bobcat to pry up roots from three large, 45 year old trees and contour the back yard. The crew worked efficiently and with good humor and obviously took pride in each aspect of the job. We are very pleased and would recommend Lavish Gardens to anyone planning to install or redesign a landscape.

Lavish Gardens Landscape did a beautiful job landscaping my property. Their planning is very thorough and the result is a very attractive and functional garden. Concrete work is very artistic and suits the scale of my yard perfectly. They created varied elevations in both the plantings and hardscape. As with any construction, there were issues to address along the way (always unavoidable), but in the end these guys put in a killer yard that we're really happy with. The workers were easy to work with and have in our backyard for 8 weeks, were always polite, and did fantastic work--they are real artisans in what they do and were able to translate our vision for our yards into reality--not an easy task. The project went quite well, timely, We waited 6 months to file report to see how the plantings do. All is well and we love our new areas.

The owner, Mike Cole came out "on time", gave us a very reasonable estimate and worked well with our budget. Steve oversaw the project from beginning to end, was very friendly, reliable and responsive to our concerns. I thought his work team was hard working and appeared to do quality work. I would recommend Lavish Gardens without hesitation (and no, he didn't pay me to say this!).

The work performed by Lavish Gardens dramatically changed our backyard and really created an extension of our house. Even though we already had a patio, grass and big redwoods before, we never really went out back - but now it's so appealing and enjoyable we want to spend each night there! The work performed in the front yard made a big improvement as well and makes for a nice entrance for our families and neighbors to enjoy when passing by. The outcome was impressive, but the behind-the-scenes teamwork that went into the project was equally amazing. We had daily contact with the owner and/or foreman to understand what the plan was going into each day and had a chance to ask questions or discuss an issue. Every question was answered until we were satisfied and every issue was addressed to our satisfaction. We were able to meet with the landscape designer multiple times until the plan was finalized and we were comfortable with the type and placement of each plant/tree. We met with the foreman multiple times before the project started so we were comfortable with the type/placement/shape of the stamped concrete in the back and stairs in the front. From start to finish, we were on a team with Lavish Gardens - we discussed plans/questions as a team, we made decisions as a team, we hurdled minor issues as a team - and the team's synergy created something that was even better than we had envisioned it. In short, Lavish Gardens is an excellent company to work with. They do everything they say they are going to do and are only pleased when you are pleased. They went above and beyond to ensure our happiness with the project's every detail and made the end result something we will enjoy for years and years. Mike arrived to talk with us about what we wanted done. He has a true understanding of what I wanted the end result to be. Mike and Steve then came later and did a walk through of the job to finalize the project. Again, they demonstrated they understood the look I wanted. They arrived the first day, removed the iron fence around the pool and the plants. They then busted all the existing concrete so that it could be removed. They came the next day and hauled off all the broken pieces of concrete. The new concrete was then poured and after curing, was stained. Steve and his crew then came in and put in the plants, sprinklers and finished it with bark.

This job was performed on budget and ahead of schedule.

The process went great! Not only did Mike finish the project as projected, he finished before his estimated date! He was in constant contact with us - we always knew who was going to be over the next day and what work would be completed. We love our yard! When we decide it's time to re-do the front door, there will be no hesitation in who we contact. We've asked Mike to come back and do a few projects, and no matter how small the project, he has always gotten the job done on a very timely basis. Lavish Gardens is the best! We would recommend Mike and his company anytime.

Our new home did not include a finished back yard. After nearly two years of looking at dirt and interviewing potential contractors, we finally came across Lavish Gardens. We were immediately impressed with their upfront approach and ability to listen to what we wanted. So many other contractors had their own plans, but didn't listen to what we wanted. We worked directly with the owner, Michael, to develop the general layout and pricing, and then worked with a landscape designer to fine tune the designs. We specifically asked for drought-friendly landscape and the designer worked with us to give us options other than a rock garden! We have beautiful plants and trees that are appropriate for our climate. The foreman was extremely knowledgeable and provided us regular updates on the progress and next steps. His crew was respectful and hard working, never leaving a mess at the end of the day. The outcome was a beautiful backyard with plenty of room for entertaining.
