They came in and covered everything almost. Removed the vents and checked the furnace. They said the gas was off from where it was supposed to be and adjusted it with no charge. Used a hepa filter machine to clean the ducts. Even showed us all the filters befor they started. This is our first home and they checked the ac and ckeaned it also. Cleaned out the dryer vent also. Technicians were very knowledgeable and asked us if we wanted the brush cleaning or air cleaning only. They explained the diffrence and showed us how to use our system propely. Added a cleaner to the ducts to remove any chance of fungi and dirt left from passing through. They kids are very sensitive to the air and have asthma and showed us options to help. Will be callling the to help with that in the near future. Really know there stuff. Actual air conditioning techs not carpet cleaners. Have done the research and they use the right type of machine. The Service man showed up on schedule and was very friendly. He obviously enjoyed his work and was very knowledgeable. He spent almost 2 hours bringing my heater back on line. Tonight I will be nice and warm and I am a very happy man! I will tell my friends about the positive experience that I had and refer them to RKM heating and air conditioning service.

The provider was super knowledgable and courteous. He was very thorough, he spent almost an hour going over the equipment. At the end, he went through a check list with both myself and my husband. My husband at first was skeptical, and assured me that they would fine "something" wrong with our system that would result in $$$$. I'm happy to say my hubby was wrong. The technician confirmed that other than a pressure adjustment, our 15 year old system was performing great. He asked if we had any questions and thanked us for our business. I will definitely use them again for both checkups and service.

Michael, the service rep, was very polite, knowledgeable, very thorough and explained everything. I will not hesitate to call again if I experience problems in the future.

Parts were difficult to get from manufacture, which caused 2 delays and took much longer than expected. I appreciated that RKM wanted to maintain the warrantee by using manufacture's parts as required. Technicians were very nice and went out of their way to explain the difficulty involved to access the wires as well. They took their time and check and recheck after completion. The cost was much more than I expected, however, I was very happy with the work.

Said no problem (couldn't find problem), still charged full service charge, didn't at least clean unit.

I had 3 estimates - RKM gave the best price on a high energy-efficient A/C. Showed up on time, courteous and overall great install. I would strongly recommend RKM and will use them again in the future!

I purchased a special coupon through Angie's list for a multi point inspection for my two ac units. The tech was very knowledgeable and new what he was doing. After he performed the test on both units he had some recommendations for the AC units. He also recommended to purchase the maintenance agreement this will allow the tech to come out twice a year and test the AC units. I was very happy with the service and the maintenance agreement. Initial experience was good. The representative seemed to be knowledgeable and helpful. He provided a bid. After receiving 2 additional bids I decided to go with RKM. When I called to schedule with the technician, I did not get a call back. After 2 tries, I decided to take my business elsewhere. I am not sure if the technician was spread to thin or what (he seemed like a nice guy) but what ever the reason I am happy this happened before the project started.

My air conditioner had not been cooling effectively. The technician found a problem and repaired it. He took off the money I had paid for the special. My air conditioner works really well now.

As I sit here in my COOL home I can tell you that it went very well. Michael is very knowledgeable and made us feel good about how we're keeping good home maintenance on our unit by keeping our filters cleaned and hosing our coils. We have a very old unit and were worried that having an A/C person out might entail a salesman pressuring us into a new system; but this was not the case with Michael. We asked him, when all was completed, about approximate costs of a new unit for us at a later time because we will definitely call RKM next time we need service. One of the best surprises to us was that RKM guarantees their work for one year! The entire experience was great and we highly recommend this company.

We decided that the unit wasn't as efficient as we would like so I called them back and we ended up getting a quote from them replacing our air conditioner and furnace and we did purchase that from them apart from the big deal. It was competitive and actually cheaper than another one that we had gotten a quote from Angie's list so we ended up having them do that and I was very happy with that. They came out on the day and they got it done, there was some leaking that we experienced and I called them and they came out that day on a Saturday to check it out and it had nothing to do with what they had done, but there was one of the condensation drains had clogged so they blew that out for me right away and everything is working fine. They were timely and there were no surprises and they did their work. My wife was the one that was home when they were out couple of months ago so I don't really recall. I would use them again in the future.

the technician Michael was punctual - came on time & spent about 2 hours of testing our system. he was very thorough, informative & patient with all our questions. fortunately, our system is fine for now but we will definitely call them for any HVAC work!

I didn't end up using them but only because my husband had gotten a friend of the family (contractor) to inspect the a/c unit, the lady I spoke with was very friendly and very serviceable, seemed fair and he available dates were flexible.

I will call RKM whenever I need maintenance or problems with my A/C and furnace. I will also recommend this company to all of my friends and neighbors because they have the best price and service. I am glad that I have found them through Angie's list.

They were prompt, professional, and fixed the minor problem for a reasonable cost. Can't ask for more than that.

Our heater was not turning on and due to the cold temperatures we had to have it fixed. I called the company on Monday afternoon and explained that we saw the tune up deal on Angie's List and would like to have them come out to see if that was all it needed. They were able to get me an appt for 10-2pm the next day. I was called by Michael (technician assigned to me) on Tuesday morning at 9am saying that he was running 10-15mins late. I had not planned for him to be there until 10am, but I am never going to complain about a service person arriving early! Michael was very professional even putting on shoe covers before entering the home. He took a look at the heater and in about 20 mins was able to tell me that it was more than a tune up, it needed a new control board. He told me he would go check his truck to verify he had the part and find out the price for me. When he came back he told me a price which was a bit higher than we expected but quickly called the shop and was able to get us a small discount making it more what we imagined. He quickly put the part in and tuned up the heater. He was not able to change our filter due to the type and size but told me where to go to get one and how to replace it on my own. He also answered some questions I had in regards to how to install a digital thermostat and what the benefits were to having one. Throughout the entire service call he was friendly and professional, I actually enjoyed his company and our conversation. They were never pushy in telling us we needed to get a new heater (our fear) although he did tell us that it is old and will probably have to be replaced at some point in the not to distant future. I appreciated that they didnt push us or try to sell us on a new install (even though we could probably benefit from it and may have possibly considered it). When it does come time to get a new system we will happily call them back to do the work.

From the initial inquiry regarding working and replacing a floor furnance to actually do the job was very professional and prompt! We would highly recommend this company.

Overall, I thought the technician did not spend time looking for the problem, knew the problem right away and did not leave on the first day until he knew he couldn't fix the furnace on the first day. Overall, he was fast, knowledgeable and clean. I would not hesitate to use them again

The heater was not performing. My controller was not reading it had a blank screen. Turns out that the filters of which I had changed in the spring were caked in dirt. These filters blocked air flow and caused it to over heat which then made the heater to shut down. again.They changed the filters and lowered the sensors for the heaters and all is warm and cozy.

Water began dripping from the central air secondary drain that exits the house over the master bath window over the weekend. Noticed water on the platform in the attic as well. Called RKM to schedule service. RKM technician came out the next morning. Technician was professional, friendly and courteous. Quickly cleared the clogged drain and then checked the system for operation. Noticed that the air filters were dirty and also two vents downstairs were installed upside down. Completed the work and inspection within an hour. Overall was very satisfied with the service and would recommend this company for you air/heating needs. Invoice # 4825

Called RKM and was able to make an appointment that was convenient for me. I needed my air condioner serviced due to a lot of water leaking out of it. The technician (Michael) came on time and was able to fix the problem quickly, explaining what was wrong (Condensate line clogged), and fully checked that is was working fully. The charge was only $99.00 and the unit is working perfectly now. I was so impressed with their service I signed up to have 2 tune-ups (furnace and A/C) over the next year which will only cost 130.00 (no further charge for service call).
