They did a great job in opening a deep clog in my bathroom cast-iron drainpipe caused by flakes of rust -- then replacing a leaky section of pipe that had corroded completely through. Their plumber worked diligently non-stop for a full day on this messy job and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. Customer service was outstanding. However, their pricing was outrageous. over $1,500 -- more than I paid for my first car. I am retired, in my 80s and on a fixed income. This took a big chunk out of my life-savings. Use them only if you have unlimited cash.

I have used this service a number of times over the years. Their customer service is excellent and their service providers are personable, skilled and very knowledgeable. However their costs are outrageous. I had to pay $1,545 for a power-auger cleanout of a bad clog in my washbasin drain caused by rust flakes in the old cast-iron pipes. The work was in a tight space and required hours of effort, included removal and replacement of a severely corroded piece of pipe that had rusted completely through. The plumber had to call on his supervisor to give him extra help. All the employees are very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and skillful but I have reservations about using the services of a company that exploits their employees by overcharging customers and paying their service providers only a small commission for the hard work they do. Also I had to sign a huge stack of paperwork that rivaled any used in the purchase of a new car.

I hired RighTime to remove an old water softener and reconnect my main water line. The technician did a great job and saved me the headache of trying to do it myself. HOWEVER the rates are ridiculous. For less than an hours work my bill was almost $900. That is for cutting and sweating in a piece of 1 copper pipe on my main drain line and hauling away the old softener. Maybe I should have done some homework before hiring them through Home Advisor. Maybe that's how expensive all plumbers are. I don't know, but I feel kind of taken advantage of. They are kind of sneaky with billing and do not give you a quote until they arrive on site. Then, the billing is based on a generic rate schedule. Mine was for repair main water line ($725 fixed, that's insane for a quick job) plus haul away ($142, are you kidding). I could have told him no, but I decided since he was here, he could do the job. For future projects I will insist on an estimate before they drive out. Otherwise, I liked the technician, he did a good job and quickly, but the company charges way to much.

Mike H. was a nice guy and gave me some other ideas if this happens again. After he finished he cleaned my toilet so i didn't have to do it. To me that was above and beyond his call of duty.

Rates are too high. Lack of clarity in the parts and labor charges.

They practice bait and switch to get you to select them and then get a higher price and the worst thing is either the scratch damage or the fact that it was not fixed. I did like the fellow that came to fix things though and they did install my faucet drain.

The plumber who came out was friendly and knowledgeable, and he identified and fixed the problem quickly.

Very unprofessional.

$226 for 15minutes of work and did not clean the drain. Based on his recommendation I paid another $300 to have the septic tank emptied. It did not need it. I still do not have it fixed. The tech was friendly but I spent a lot of money for NOTHING.
