Paul came out, gave an estimate, and I told him to start work on the cabinet.  He gave me an approximate time of completion and he did, infact, complete and install it in the time he said it would take.  Easy to work with and makes awesome designs.

Paul was wonderful to work with, and executed my ideas very well!  It was a pleasure to work with him, and I would definitely recommend him for any project.

We talked on the phone and I provided rough measurements and the key elements I wanted incorporated.  Paul came back with a rough estimate and explained the quality of what he would be doing when he built my cabinets.  We discussed the pros & cons of the different construction materials.  He then came out to the house to do exact measurements and showed us samples of the materials that will be used.  He then provided a final estimate which was the same as his rough estimate. His pricing was very fair compared to other estimates and his quality was top notch.
He was professional and very knowledgeable, he adjusted and made recommendations based on our conversations to make sure the cabinets would be perfect for our needs.  We gave him a deposit and he built the cabinets.  He installed on Jan 4th and did a fantastic job. The cabinets were exactly as promised and he installed everything in one day. We could not be happier with the results.  I would highly recommend if you need cabinets for any part of the house.

We had many bids to do a reface on my kitchen and to build a cabinet for our tv. We liked Paul right away, he is. Dry easy to talk to and he listened to everything we wanted. Well I have to say he did a beautiful job on both the kitchen and the tv cabinet. We are very pleased with his work and will certainly hire him again for future work! We recommend him for any cabinet work!

Cabinets doors not able to close ( too big).  Told him couple of time but never fixed completely.

Paul is extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. We worked together on the cabinet design and they turned out great. He built the cabinets in his shop rather than in our home which I was a little concerned about but they fit perfectly. He also removed our existing cabinets. I would highy recommend Paul as a craftsman who cares about his work.

Mr. McClintock responded very quickly with an estimate that I thought was very reasonable.  I ended up choosing a different person, but only because Mr. McClintock does not build steps and I also needed some steps built.  I appreciated Mr. McC's promptness and courtesy very much.

Everything went great with this project much like the other three projects (replacement of kitchen cabinets, custom master bathroom vanity and mirror, and solid wood wainscoting in a powder room) Paul previously completed for us.  The two cabinets that he constructed were stained to be consistent with our kitchen cabinets.  As I have said before, Paul is an extremely easy person to work with and strives to give the customer exactly what they want.  This is done in a very timely manner and the craftsmanship associated with his work is outstanding.  All of this at what I believe is a reasonable cost.

My only reason for giving a "B" on overall is that I asked to be kept in the loop throughout, but didn't get dimensions on his final product until too late in the game.  This caused some unwanted changes to the overall design in the bathroom because the double vanities were spaced farther apart, and meant that I couldn't have in-wall mirrored cabinets above -- the pop-out sinks were spaced much farther apart than I had originally understood they would be.  Perhaps I didn't make it clear enough how much I wanted detailed specs as the process progressed.  My suggestion for anyone involved in a reno is to be OCD with design; I'm afraid some failure in communication may have been mine as much as his.  I find it difficult to ask for detailed specs on everything, but you should do just that!

This is the second time we have used Paul for cabinet and woodwork projects.  His first job for us was a kitchen cabinet remodel that was outstanding.  Every time we have a contractor into our house they all have very positive things to say about the craftsmanship of Paul regarding the kitchen cabinets.  Our second project was a custom vanity for the master bathroom that we remodeled.  We gave Paul a picture of what we wanted in the style of the vanity and finish and he did an incredible job of producing a product that was right on the mark for what we wanted.  The legs of the vanity were a challenge for him (his words) but they were done just right. He also constructed solid wood wainscot in our powder room that also was a great job.  Paul is an extremely easy person to work with and does a great job of giving you exactly what you want.  He is not cheap but in my opinion very reasonable for the quality of work he produces.  If you want custom work, Paul is the guy you should use.  While I recognize some people are on very tight budgets, but for a little more money you can have a custom cabinet from Paul that is exactly what you want.
Our next project will be remodeling an upstairs bathroom and Paul will be constructing the vanity and a linen cabinet for it. 

He was very prompt and extremely professional. His crew was excellent and professional too. His product was tremendous. I needed a few touch ups after they were done and he came back personally to do them. He also had a very reasonable price.

I phoned about six companies for an estimate.  By far, Paul was the most courteous, professional, and helpful out of the six.  His company was a good one hour plus from my home and instead of coming out to give me an estimate, he asked me to provide him with some dimensions and rough sketches via email.  This worked well for me because I could do things on my schedule and was a way to at least get a working ballpark number.  Paul said if I felt comfortable with the working estimate, he would come out at that point and provide me with a more concentrate estimate.  After sending Paul my dimensions and sketches, he promptly provided me with an estimate.
What struck me about Paul was his willingness to provide honest advice and help, regardless if he felt like he was going to get the job from me or not.  He doesn't strike me as the type of individual that just wants a quick buck, he is willing to invest his time to put out a good reputation and I really appreciate that.  Out of the six companies I fished out from Angie's List, I most likely would have gone with Paul but eventually choose another non-Angie's List company since it was a more personal referral.
If you are in need of a cabinet maker, do consider Paul!

He took my design and made it a reality.  I left several decisions up to him, such as choosing the furniture columns, and love his choices.  I was not the easiest customer, but he was always willing to do whatever it took to make sure I was happy (including sending stain samples across the country to me while I was away). We got 4 quotes, and his was in the middle. We choose him because his price was reasonable, and he was able to instill a feeling of being in good hands. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. He delivered on time, and the final product exceeded our expectations.

I am an extremely satisfied customer. From start to finish McClintock was professional, honest, knowledgable and nice to work with. It was an enjoyable experience.

I found McClintock's Cabinets on the Angie's List website.  Of the companies listed, his was the closest to my house.  I called Paul McClintock and he scheduled an appointment for Saturday of that week.  Paul, my wife and I went over options and selected the type of wood, stain and interior.

We scheduled another appointment for the middle of the next week to review the design.  We were told that it would take 3 weeks until they would be finished.  10 days later he called and said that they would be ready to install in 5 days. 

The installation went smooth and cabinets look great.  We plan on using McClintock Cabinets for our Master Bathroom remodel this summer and our Kitchen Remodel later this fall.

They look wonderful!!!  So glad that I went with Paul.  He came out, gave us an estimate and two weeks later he came to install the shelves.

The cabinet was CUSTOM-BUILT from the scratch (not mass-produced stock from mega stores...it is built to match your space, not vice versa) for very reasonable price. Paul is highly professional, responsive, and easy to work with. He is very knowledgeable on cabinets, and well-connected in Riverside area for "other" related works (e.g. tiles, mirrors, plumbing, etc.). If you're in the market for the cabinets, make sure to ask his bid before making any decision, it's well worth your time. Highly recommended and will definitely consider his service in the future.
