Our icemaker was not dumping ice and seemed to be frozen over. We got V & L Appliance name from a neighbor who had used him before. When we called he came quickly. Because he had to "thaw" the machine he could not tell if it needed to be replaced until it had again made ice to be dumped. His service charge was only $50.00. He asked us to call again if the machine was still not dumping ice and he would not charge another service fee to return. We needed to call him back and he replaced the machine for about $61.00. He explained that he can keep his fees low because he only advertises by "word of mouth".
