briefly, sold me on a simple water heater replacement (pto fix an intermittent pilot. erhaps a good idea as current one is 9 years old). But, they made (rookie) mistakes and left off parts. Came back 4 + 1 times, until I finally called a plumber who promptly fixed the problem. longer: Called for simple pilot issue. convinced me to replace water heater due to age (ok with that), although they told me they were sending out a 2 person crew with equipment, they rescheduled for two days hence, as they did bring equipment and staff. 2 days later, they installed, did not work, so I had no hot water (for two weeks, as once they have your check they are not so prompt), 3 further visits failed to repair, due to a. not noticing obvious part that was not installed (my plumber says that they might like to hold on to flex hoses to resell), b. wrong installation for this brand.. This resulted in me not having hot water for two weeks, my waiting at home on the 4 scheduled days, missing work. and black particles circulating throughout the system- (ruining laundry washes) for quite a while. My plumber charged me $350. Their customer sevice kept me online multiple times, until they reimbursed me the $350 but profited off of the $2000 they had originally charged, indifferent to my plight. (the WH, wholesale, costs about $600, so they profited about $1400 for providing non-professional service, and costing me 4 days of work and no hot water for 2 weeks) Don't risk it. they are not fast. hire a plumber.

Jorge was excellent! He explained every process and why. The installation was better than what was there. I would definitely hire these guys again.

Excellent customer service skills from the very start made the decision to go w this company. Tony Vave who installed the water heater was professional, efficient, on time and answered all of my questions. He had a great attitude and did a wonderful job! I would definitely call upon this company in the future.

Water heater developed a small leak after four months. Rheem determined a replacement was warranted and covered all replacement costs including installation by Fast Water Heater Company. Service was same day and installer was courteous, professional and efficient. I was particularly pleased as he arrived after 5pm and I could tell he had already had a long day. Still, he did an excellent job of installing and testing the new water heater.

The service itself was excellent, and the result is quality as well. My particular technician (Joe) was on his game and worked quickly and professionally. My only complaint is a small one: what starts out as an attractive price keeps getting adders for additional services, so that the final price is 70% higher than the initial price. But they did actually perform these services, so in the end I received fair value.

The crew and repairman were some of the most friendly and communicative technicians we’ve ever hired. The initial customer service contact was extremely friendly as well. We were disappointed that our new unit needed new parts almost immediately, but that is not a reflection on Fast Water Heaters. They were prompt and efficient, and the job cost less than it would have from other vendors. There was , obviously, no cost to us for new parts and repair.

Because our water heater was so old, there was a lot of work bringing everything up to code. Gino was a lifesaver, putting in a huge effort to get the job done as fast as possible. He explained everything very clearly, and worked with us to try and contain the costs. Gino doesn't stop until the job is done right, and we can't recommend him highly enough! I put N/A for price as it turned into a very expensive project for us, but that's because the work was more complicated than we expected. "B" for punctuality because Gino arrived at 3 and stayed until midnight (!)

Rey did a great job replacing our water heater. He was punctual, efficient, and very knowledgeable about his work. He also made good recommendations on the setup and maintenance of the water heater. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I would hire him again.

Came on time, completed within 45 minutes. Original estimate from another company was 2900 I end up paying 2040. All costs were above board nothing hidden and explained. I would use this service over again.

The clerk at Home Depot had no idea what it would cost to install one of their hot water heaters, so I called their installation number. This took me directly to Fast Water Heater. They gave me a price to install a Rheem water heater G50T12: $1649 (basic installation, permit, and tax). PLUS there would be charges for any needed code upgrades. Since my heater was 19 years old, I knew it needed ALL the upgrades and I asked what the maximum would be. After several minutes of dodging my question he came up with “you should budget $200 to $500 for code upgrades.” When the tech arrived he gave me a price of $600 for the code upgrades. When I complained this was $100 more than the maximum I had been quoted, he agreed to give me a $100 discount. [Hang on to your wallet!] The installation then went smoothly except he crunched the side of the drip pan and had to bend it back into shape. Then I had to sign literally 25 pages of legalese. Next he measured the house water pressure and found it to be 90 psi and said this was high and might shorten the life of the water heater. [I bought my own pressure gauge the next day and found the correct pressure to be fine at 63 psi.] He next told me that all I had to do to get the permit was to make an appointment with the Benicia building department. This turned out not to be true, because when the inspector arrived (and even though the unit passed the code inspection) he could not sign the owner’s copy of the permit because I was supposed to have it and I didn’t. To find the owner’s copy I both called and emailed Fast Water Heater but no one EVER bothered to return my messages. Finally, 3 weeks after the installation, I received the permit in the mail from Fast Water Heater headquarters in Washington State !! I had to take it down to the building inspection office to have it signed. The installation tech also told me that the building inspector would have to enter my house and check the smoke detectors. This also turned out not to be true. But the icing on the cake was that a few days after the installation I found 3 sheet metal screws on my driveway waiting to puncture my tires!
