"Regarding the belt, I had two in stock, the problem was that the manufacturer placed wrong belts in the wrong packages at the factory, so that means wrong part numbers, so I had to go and get new belts, and yes I had to come back to finish it. Regarding the price, I am pretty sure the only reason he accepted my price was the lowest compared to others. For more details, this price included (advertising, travel, use of car, gas, taxes, credit card fees), they live far away, there are not that many technicians, after deducting all this, there not much left. My prices are reasonable compared to others, and this is why I am busy."
"Just to clarify a few points! 1: Work began, I did visit her condominium, we did walk through everything that needed to be done, replaced, and fixed. 2: We had an agreement with the total price and a very detailed description of work and parts. 3: She called and texted me multiple times in a few days ( she lives in Canada) her tenant called me and texted me for two days rushing me to get everything done ASAP, she was begging me to start getting everything done ASAP, so her new tenant can move in by the end of the week. I had to reschedule all my other appointments for the next two days so I can start working there, not only that, I ordered new parts and went to different stores to pick up other replacement items, and many hours of writing an estimate and researching parts. 4: For her washer parts that were in special order when she decided to cancel everything, I had to pay restocking fees for all washer parts. 5: I lost two working days because of her last-minute decision (cancellation). 6: I am an appliance technician and also do some handyman work as we, licensed and Insured with business expenses, I do charge a service call fee of $65, just like other professionals (plumbers, electricians) they all charge service call fees. I didn’t even charge her for all other fees and loss of business (2 days)"
