Jose Is a nice person, but, I am very disappointed in his work. He hung new, medicine cabinet doors with a helper, after he left, I noticed they had chipped a piece of the mirror while hanging it, and did not tell me. This clearly did not happen in the factory because I found the glass shards: One was left right there on the counter, and another piece of glass which they threw in my trashcan. I am really shocked at this lack of disclosure and dishonesty. He hung a new, side, garage door, that too was not perfectly done. I kept seeing light coming through which did not seem to bother him, but he was willing to tweak it when I asked him to keep trying to get it right. The cleanup was not very good. The biggest disappointment was the price, what he put in writing was one thing, what he charged was another, I call this bait and switch. He charged more than 2x the hourly rate by telling me the project would take all day, when in fact they were done in 4 hours. I can not recommend Jose for any project due to his dishonesty, poor workmanship, and my lack of trust.

Jose and his assistant arrived on time. They worked efficiently and competently. Because of his customer service, we felt comfortable working with him and would have him do more projects in our home.

Jose was came first to review the work required and set appointment date/time that worked for us both. He was on time and true to his word on how long the job(s) would take. He does quality work. Gives sound advise and is a true professional. He is honest, hard-working and wonderful. He has a new customer for life!

Jose listens and fulfills your needs in a timely, knowledgeable, friendly way. I highly recommend his services.

He is very good, works fast, and is extremely accommodating. I highly recommend him. The only thing I had trouble with was the fee of $100hour. Yes, he does come with an assistant but the hourly rate would keep me from using him for more complicated work unless we could negotiate a lower rate. He was open to this conversation.

Jose is very friendly and says he is willing to spend time with you. He says there's 2 of them and says he can do the job for $120/hr. Very comforting speaker to assure you he's there for you and he finds out about the job without rushing for money. I ask him for what stuff to buy because I need to save money so he tells me the couple of things and he says that's all. The problem came on the job day. He comes late 30 minutes and says he is in traffic, which seemed fine. When he begins work I find out the other guy is an apprentice. He is spending plenty of time telling the other guy how to do stuff so not only am I paying $120/hr but they're both not doing any work because he's telling him how to do stuff on the job. When the apprentice is measuring the wood to replace on the window, he estimates and over cuts the board so there's a large gap of about an 1" or so. How do you make such a big mistake? Why aren't you just replacing the board? Then Jose says no problem you won't see it and he fills it with caulking which is a low quality fix on an expensive large window. When he's putting the nails back in to secure wood to the window frame I ask him what he can do about the 1 bent nail left poking out of the frame like remove it and renail and he says no problem it won't be seen after you paint. And it's still there poking up, he didnt do anything. While he's nailing the frame back, the apprentice blows the vacuum up causing dust to fall throughout the house, which I know because I'm choking on whatever chemicals/powder is all over my garage, kitchen, living room, my curtains, food, and rooms, and he says what is he doing and checks it out. No apology. When he leaves they never even clean or vacuum the mess up. How do you mess up on vacuuming? He end up working for 5 hours to replace my doorbell. He messed up connecting the wrong wires even though I told him it didnt make sense, and maybe check for power before closing it up, so he took @ least an hour extra to undo it and find the right wires. He has to patch up the wall because he had to reach the right wires this time and he says he can make it look right, but after he leaves the wall is not even close to the texture. When he is finished with both jobs, he says the charge is $780 which is 6.5 hours of work, and I tell him that is way higher when he expected to spend 3.5 to 4 hours, a 1/2 day and he was only there for 5 hours. I also tell him he was late by 1/2 an hour. He says he was late because he was getting supplies, but I bought the supplies and had asked him for the supply list to buy everything ahead of time because I needed to save money. He said he had to buy the transformer, but I bought it. So he lowers the price a little then says he'll overlook the item charges. He kept ignoring phone calls & texts from his other customer so he seemed to be ok staying to work on my project, but I guess he'll try to get a full day's pay on barely 1/2 a day's work for him and his apprentice. Do remember I've still got a nail sticking up, a slightly crooked frame, a gap covered with caulking, dust all over the garage and almost the whole house (no apology or cleanup), a bad patch job, and an overcharge for time he has to spend overseeing his apprentice not being able to do th...

Jose has a great professional personality. He works no stop and does great work and considerate of our home while doing so.

Charged too much the door still does not close , drawers are still hard to open. I just gave Jose $375.00 for nothing

Jose and Eddy did a great job replacing the rotten wooden steps on my outdoor stairwell in addition to other projects I needed to have done. They were on time, professional, and completed the work sooner than expected. I plan to hire them again.

Jose is punctual, easy to talk to and did the job for a reasonable charge. The work was on the ceiling in my living room and he created a â closed work spaceâ that eliminated the dust and need to move furniture (including my grandfather clock). I am delighted to have found him.

this is a case of the money being worth the job, as my husband always did this on his own, I was'nt expecting to pay this much, but as a widow, I felt at least I got a reputable person and a good job,

Jose was very thorough with the work. I really enjoyed working with him , he cane to take a look at the tasks and provided a fair estimate. He was thorough and careful carrying out the tasks at my townhouse. He performed handyman and some plumbing tasks. I would recommend Jose.

Jose was absolutely awesome! He is cheerful and never complained even once when the job developed complications and required additional work. He was courteous, on time and has great work ethic. I highly recommend Jose to anyone who requires a honest and hardworking handyman in the Bay Area.
