Very well, they ended up costing less than we thought. I needed a little adjustment, and they got me in and out right away. Happy girl.

He was fair and honest. The office put me on a waiting list to get my teeth cleaned, was contacted in two days and had my teeth cleaned.

He and his assistant banter congenially as he is doing work in your mouth, making you feel very relaxed and making the time pass very fast.  He makes suggestions for what to watch for that may be a future repair, providing options without pushing you into dental work that is not immediately necessary.  The front desk staff (reception and billing) is friendly and efficient.  The office presents itself as warm and caring.

I was told that I had 4 cavities and needed a crownless tooth pulled. I liked that he said he would do it all, instead of sending me to someone else to pull the tooth. Dr. Wilson was painless, quick, and the work was wonderful. He saved two teeth that others would do a root canal on. He  was just amazing. He uses the best materials and the price was reasonable. I even received a 10% discount by using a check. I am 75 and have had a great experience with Dr. Wilson. He is the best dentist for me. I found him by reading other reviews about him here.

my first visit was for teeth cleaning and examine. The other dentist I had always found something to fix. Dr. Wilson has only had to fill one cavity since I have been seeing him and that is was only recently.

They are researching the cost with our insurance company. They didn't try a force us to commit us to any thing on the stop. Loved their approach.

I was in and out and absolutely thrilled with my experience. I have a great fear of dentists and Dr. Wilson's assessment was one I didn't expect. I've never had a dentist say I could wait and there was no hurry to perform services. His staff from entry to exit was exceptional and he's my and quot;go-to-guyand quot; when I need a dentist!

There was alittle wait when I first arrived for my appointment. His staff is very friendly. Once in the chair, it was only five minutes before I got to see him. He made a thorough exam of the sensitive area and found nothing of immediate concern. He made some recommendations of which I am now following-with good results. I set up a further appointment after the first of the year as a follow-up. I felt very comfortable with his professional and dental expertise.
I was satisfied with his service and would recommend him.
He is busy so routine exams and cleanings may take some time.

I'm real pleased with the work he's done. He did what he said he was going to do and I would use him again. He's reasonable, he's the most reasonable dentist that I've been around as far as pricing. However, he didn't answer a lot of my questions, maybe he was busy or something. It's easy to make an appointment and the staff is friendly. The communication with the office staff is an A, but I'd give the dentist a C.

My daughter is disabled and was apprehensive about going to a new dentist. We talked to Julie, one of his staff, and she had us come meet Dr. Wilson before her appointment. He was VERY nice and made my daughter feel comfortable. She has a good experience with Dr. Wilson and his office staff.

When Dr. Wilson saw me on this initial visit (2004), he sent me to a specialized dentist, since he suspected the (correct) tooth was cracked, possibly all the way to the root, and Wilson was not equipped to call that shot.

If the tooth was cracked all the way to the root, then extraction would be the best choice. If the tooth was only superficially cracked, then capping it would be a suitable alternative. The other dentist, whose name I do not recall, actually shone various colored lights onto and through the affected tooth, demonstrating to me and himself, that more than likely the tooth was cracked nearly to the root. The tooth was not salvageable.

When I returned to Wilson's office he extracted the problem tooth, of course. He placed a and quot;bridgeand quot; in the location where the problem tooth used to be.

I personally do not like the extra care that a and quot;bridgeand quot; requires - like flossing underneath the bridge!

In 2010 I had a front incisor (#9 tooth?) develop an abscess again. Since I had already been referred to a Redding periodontist for a gum problem, I went to see this specialist and he performed an extraction and implant of the front incisor. Dr. Wilson completed the permanent cap tooth in March, 2011.

The rest of my time under the care of Dr. Wilson was pretty much uneventful. Just the usual twice-yearly cleanings and minor fillings.

*****

I want to interject something that I have learned since that earlier dental experience. When you opt for a and quot;bridgeand quot; to be placed in your mouth to replace a lost tooth, the two adjoining teeth (next to the problem tooth) are ground down and used as a support for the and quot;bridgeand quot;. By grinding these two adjoining teeth down and then using them to support the and quot;bridgeand quot;, you are asking for long range dental trouble. Presumably, these two adjoining teeth were healthy before the bridge placement, but you have removed the protective enamel from both of them! They are no longer healthy teeth!

A much better alternative, is placing an implant tooth in the space that the extracted tooth left open. An implant is a stand-alone replacement for the faulty extracted tooth, and does not and quot;lean onand quot; adjoining teeth, exposing them to additional stress and survival hazards.

Unfortunately, implants are considerably more expensive that bridges, but when you think about it being your mouth, your smile, your PERMANENT teeth, I think you might find the cost worthwhile.

As of July 2010, a front (incisor) tooth implant will cost ~$1800.00 each in the Redding, Calif. area. Add to that the permanent and quot;cap toothand quot; that your primary (general) dentist places on the implant stump, and the cost can approach $2100.00. Most dental insurance plans only cover a part of this charge.

I really liked him. He was very thorough and explained everything he was doing. His office staff was awesome. He went above and beyond what he needed to do. He helped me with something that wasn’t related to dentistry. He came and did an emergency root canal. It was very inexpensive and I liked that.

Most recently I got a feeling done. It went very well, he is a wonderful dentist. He is my primary care dentist. I have had five or six, I find him to be the most honest and ethical of them all.
